Ram's Head Recreation Center — Attraction in Chapel Hill

Not only is the weight floor inadequate, it's unsafe: just recently, one of the benches collapsed when I was holding 80 pound dumbbells in my hands, because what little equipment this place actually has is so janky and rusted. Ram’s Head suffers from a lot of the same issues as the Student Rec Center at UNC-CH. There isn't nearly enough space or equipment to accommodate 20,000 students. It doesn't matter what time of day you go, there's a good chance you will spend more time waiting for a piece of equipment to open than you will actually working out.
