Rarely do I take the time to post reviews and never have I posted a review where someone has far exceeded my expectations. I'm pretty particular (I'm a tax attorney and a CPA if that gives you any point of reference). We renovated our kitchen - an unwelcomed project after our home flooded. We contacted several highly rated providers for countertops - some responded and some even provided quotes. Leo at 704 Granite not only responded immediately, he shared important insight - like the pros and cons of the specific quartzite we selected. He encouraged us to visit the stone provider to select our slabs right away (we were 2 months out at the time) as the Taj Mahal quartzite we wanted had great variations and many slabs had yellow crack filler, which we did not want. I texted him photos of other types of countertops we were interested in and he was not only able to identify them immediately from the photos but was familiar with the grade to give us a ballpark of how much it would cost for our project. During this entire renovation (we did the entire 7,000 square foot house), he was the only provider that was that knowledgable about his trade. He offered to extend our reservation on the slabs we selected and did so every week for a few months. He answered texts immediately. He walked us through where every section of the slab would go in the kitchen (there were a lot of variations in the slab so that was pretty important). In summary, he was caring, took the time to make you feel like you were his only client, was communicative about the pricing from start to finish so there were no surprises (and he was very reasonable) and the final result is an outstanding, beautiful kitchen. We had no idea tops could be so complex. At one point, Leo kindly pointed out a mistake the cabinet installers made that would affect his cut - he could have easily just cut the granite to that mistake (like anyone else would have) but instead shared it with me and worked kindly with the installer who made the mistake to fix it - even though it put him behind a day to do so. In our powder room we replaced the wood top that had water damage - it was complex and curvy - one of those single units from the furniture market. The wood top was removed and he took it back to his shop, returning with a gorgeous replacement top made of stone in the exact same shape. It looks beautiful and we thought we were going to have to replace the entire unit as others stated replacing the top could not be done. The quartzite tops really make the whole renovation so I'm thrilled we were lucky enough to find Leo - someone who is even more particular than I am and who takes incredible pride in his...
Read moreI called in a panic on a Thursday afternoon after a less than impressive experience with an individual countertop “pro” I found online. Left a message for 704 thinking there was no way they could be as amazing as their reviews. Also thinking the price wouldn’t be as fair as what I’d been quoted by the individual. The solo worker told me he could have my counters in within a week but gave me a little speech about being “really busy” so it could take longer. I don’t have longer as I’m remodeling and coordinating with a contractor. Leo called back in under 24 hours, on a Friday, heard my situation, found a BEAUTIFUL piece of quartz that was well within budget - it actually far exceeded my expectations for the value - THEN he managed to come out and do the template THAT SAME DAY. But it doesn’t stop there. There’s a reason for all the rave reviews. He texts Saturday and asks if there’s a possibility I can have he and his team come out for the install. What?! You’re kidding. No. From the time of my first call to complete installation, it was 48 hours. The price was within a few bucks of the other guy, he showed up with a tablet to show me a digital layout of my space, was in and out in a flash and his friendly demeanor, clean up, and excellent service was unmatched. I wish the company was hiring because I could sell for Leo and the squad all day. This is a company I believe in and my countertops are beyond gorgeous! I can’t wait to see the end result and am so grateful I found 704 Granite and Marble. Not enough words to say how highly I recommend this company and the...
Read moreThis company is awesome! They gave me the best price out of about eight appraisals. I am a very particular person with a very sharp eye and I demand the best from anyone I hire. I already knew which stone I wanted and from where. I contacted the owner and his name is Leo. He was very pleasant to talk to and very helpful. He actually looked at all my measurements that I sent him over the phone and even found a calculation error that no one else noticed out of all the other companies. I decided to go with him due to the easy communication, accuracy and pricing and I’m glad I did because the results in the end are beautiful! He cut my stone perfectly and he was very patient with me when I had to shove the job back a few times due to other contractors not having my kitchen ready in time for the countertops. He cut my stone perfectly and he was very patient with me when I had to shove the job back a few times due to other installers not having my kitchen ready in time for the countertops. I couldn’t be happier with the results. During the day of install his team came out they were all very pleasant to talk to. They were very detailed and friendly. They were very careful in my house to make sure that they didn’t touch the walls or mark up anything...they did a phenomenal job. They even laid down pads on the floors for their dollies. They spent lots time making sure everything fit right and was properly completed before they left. I have a few more needs for more granite in my house, bathrooms etc. I will be using them again. I would recommend these guys...
