Read moreAs of yesterday my man told me he was taking me to the Best Truck in town-- I'm a hard skeptic!! We stopped at little Rock exit we've experienced the steak torta, steak burrito, carne asada fries, street tacos and hot wings over 70$ in good homemade food made by Sammy himself and his friend! It was a wait a long wait but we knew we had a wait ahead of us with how much food we ordered! Next time we will call ahead and order My Review is that wings were amazing sauce wasn't too hot ! The torta and burrito were amazing with homemade refried beans you can taste the bacon grease. Carne asada fries were amazing perfect crunch in fries even after waiting to drive over 45min home 😂 not one soggy fry! Perfect!
The tacos though..... Not the best ! Full of steak though and anyone would love that but me---No I want the whole authentic Mexican taco in which these particular tacos had one corn tortilla per taco and little to none fresh cut onions -- however there was grilled onions atop the tacos but nope I want freshly cut onions cilantro and the right amount of them on my tacos.
Other than that I will be back for carne asada fries and burritos mmmhmmmm BEST IN TOWN thank you so much you have my business and my...
Read moreThe tacos are very good here. I’ve had them several times. But I won’t be back. Today the strangest thing happened.
There was a Black homeless man sitting across from the taco truck, literally minding his business. I offered to buy him a meal. I placed our order 6 steak tacos for me and the man wanted rice and steak...could have meant he didn’t have teeth. So I didn’t question.
I placed the order. When I went to pick it up, they didn’t have the steak and rice side. The owner of the stand said “we feed him all the time, no need”. I explained to him that I placed the order and was ready to pay. After a few weird moments of me trying to understand why he was refusing to serve the man, and I stating that I would grab him food elsewhere he, finally put together rice, beans, and two chicken tacos.
The owner didn’t want to serve the man. It was abundantly clear he didn’t. He even asked if I wanted to pay and he serve him later (which I’m not sure why he’d ask that).
Regardless, it was weird and odd. I was paying for the food and just feeding a homeless man. Only in NC does crazy stuff like this happen!
I won’t be back. And I’ll spread the word too. What happened today was very unacceptable...
