Amazing Lash Studio — Attraction in Charlotte

Most of the lash artists are inexperienced! Not worth it! Do not waste your money here! They tell you that you get discounted rates if you sign up for the membership but then upcharge you for hybrids and there is an up charge to have a master stylist. You will end up paying more than other solo lash artist in the area are charging. I had a bad experience my first time. I asked for the hybrid sexy lash style I was shown in the pictures they provided. I was given classics instead and my lashes were very sparse. When I spoke to the manager she agreed with me that the lashes were not the style I picked out with her but gaslit me into thinking it was my fault for picking a junior stylist (Madicyn). I decided to give them another chance and scheduled with a senior stylist (Kelsey). I was told that the next time I came in on 11/4 that I could get my hybrid lashes half off for $12.50 extra instead of $25 if I pulled up Yelp when I checked in at the front desk. When I arrived to my appointment I was disappointed to be informed that promotion ended on 11/1. Red flag 🚩 number 2! So that meant my hybrid fill-in would cost be $95. If I would have scheduled with a master stylist the fee would have been $120. This is a ridiculous price for a fill-in! The senior artist is suppose to be a step below a master. Kelsey got product in my eye which I did inform her as tears were leaking down my eyes. I asked her if this would affect my lashes and she said it would not. Well that wasn’t true because my lashes started all falling out that very day! Also her hair was down and getting all over me during the session, but whatever when I left there my lashes looked better than the last time but still not what I asked for but I was ok with it until my lashes started falling out the same day. I did everything right for aftercare and didn’t go to the gym for days. I know it was because that product got in my eye and my eyes were watering so bad. I have consulted with two other lash artists in the area and was told that my lashes were done incorrectly which could cause lash damage and that it looks like the stylists that did them were newbies and very inexperienced. I was also told that If I decided to cancel my membership to the 2nd week of signing up that I could. Amazing lash was very responsive to me when I wanted to schedule appointments but whenever I asked to cancel at the 2 week date after having 2 bad experiences, I was told a manager would have to send me a cancellation form which took them 5 days to get to me and my card was charged for the full membership. When I requested a refund for the extra fill included in the membership they went radio silent. I don’t feel that I should pay for a service I will not be getting and I should not have paid for the horrible service that I did receive but all I asked for was the money back for the service I would not be getting. I had my first lash appointment on December 2nd. My tech was wonderful, the front desk staff was extremely polite, everyone I encountered during my appointment was great... and then I signed up for the membership.

I was told by the associate that checked me out that you have 10 days from signing up to cancel with no penalty if you change your mind. The more I thought about it, the more I realized a membership wouldn't be beneficial and decided to cancel. The following Friday, December 8th, I called to cancel and was told that a manager would receive my information and give me a call back to complete the cancellation. Saturday I was told the same thing when I called again. Sunday, I called yet again and explained the situation. The young woman I spoke with assured me her manager would call within 30 minutes. An hour went past with no return phone call from them, so I called and was told that "it was taking a little longer than they expected, but someone would be in touch shortly." Sunday was my 10th day, so I was pretty persistent, as I didn't want to be charge the $59.99 monthly fee. Yesterday, I called again and received the exact same story. Today, I called before work and although they were not open yet, I was sure that I could leave a voicemail. Instead, the phone rang for over 3 minutes and then just disconnected. I called back again during my lunch and expressed my frustration that I had now called SIX times and was going to be charged. She told me a manager was not in yet, but she would email her manager and leave a note for her to call me asap. When I asked when her manager was supposed to be coming in, so I knew when to expect a call back, she was completely clueless and just told me again that it would be taken care of.

4 hours later and I still have not heard a word from them. Disappointment all around. I will not...

I went two days ago, and there is a time limit that if there are complications with the lashes that they put on they had so much glue stuck to my eyelid that I could not sleep for two nights and I called to see if they could fix and get rid of all of the glue and the lady said yes we’ll be glad to take care of that for you for free since you’re calling in a timely manner so I go there today and they charge me $45 to do a fill-in which was supposed to be free because I couldn’t even close my eyes, the glue had my eyes stuck shut then the next lady that put my lashes on, I told her that I would like for them to look thicker and wispy. I came out looking like I have less lashes than whenever I went in to amazing lash studio. Do yourself a favor, and do not waste your money they charged a friend of mine $189 for a membership fee and then turned around and charged her $280 for her service and now that knowledge has left from over an amazing lash studio. I never wanna go back. These girls have not been trained properly.
