Carolina Cyclone is an Arrow Dynamics roller coaster located at Carowinds in Charlotte, North Carolina. The coaster is located in the Carolina Boardwalk area of the park. Built in 1980 by now defunct coaster manufacturer Arrow Dynamics, it was the first roller coaster to have four inversions, two loops and two corkscrews. #amusementpark #Amusem #cedarpoint #cedarpark #cedarfairentParkThrills #AmusementParkFun #familyweekend #familytime #family #rayban #raybanmeta #raybansunglasses #Hersheypark #thrillseeker #thrillride #sixflags #sixflagsgreatadventure

The first coaster in the world to have four inversions!! Quite a feat for its time and is a beautiful classic Arrow coaster. I am a sucker for the corkscrews (see Corkscrew review at Cedar Point). This is not the smoothest coaster, yet was also built more than 40 years ago. Compared to the modern coasters in the park this is a fun, small coaster that is a great gateway for younger riders before moving to the big four. Also, this historical coaster accomplishment is a great addition for any coaster enthusiast.

I have a big soft spot for old looping coasters and Carolina Cyclone scratches the itch. It's relatively smooth. The two loops are fun. The corkscrews are nice as they go over the path. The last helix is fun as it's partially underground. And the turn between the loops and corkscrews has a surprise pop of air if you sit in the front. A fun ride that I have no complaints of other than it being too short.

Caroline Cyclone: This a great ride offering for durable, young park-goers who aren't quite tall enough to face off against the likes of Fury and the Intimidator. Caroline Cyclone is an Arrow looper, so roughness and headbanging are both expected. That being said, Caroline Cyclone is not nearly as rough as older loopers can be. Determined riders may even favor a re-ride. This coaster offers four inversions and no-real drop, which again, make it a fine coaster for beginners seeking bragging rights. Avoid this ride if you have neck, shoulder, or back pain. Though not a landmark, this ride is a nice piece of history for enthusiasts visiting Carowinds.

Flying Cobras (as the Google Reviews seem to be combined?): This classic boomerang coaster is another excellent option for younger riders looking for a thrill. It could serve as a great second coaster. The backwards portion of the ride offers a memorable sensation that is particularly potent in the loop. Lines for this ride are often short, but Flying Cobras is not an easy re-ride. This coaster induces...

2.3⭐️ I didn’t like this one that much. Also the ride operator gave us like 5 seconds to step past the gate before it closed. Once the gate closed you wait for the next coaster 🤣 People aren’t even off the ride yet, but you just have to step thru the gate, let it close behind you, and wait for them to get off. I was the only one in my group who heard the girl say this and stepped past the gate. So I rode the coaster alone 🤣 It was a fun ride, but it is older, so it was not the smoothest ride. Got off with a headache. I think the younger age groups could handle this one better...

Wow! This was a great experience as it was my first looped roller coaster. Unfortunately, it involved lots of head banging!!!🤕🤨This is a great ride for people who are getting used to the big ones! This was a great ride but I do think that it could be a lot more smoother. This is a very rough ride and could give you a headache. Carolina Cyclone still was a very fun ride so be sure to ride it if you're okay with a little bit of head banging!!!PLUS I rated it 3 stars just because it could've been a lot less painful because of the...
