Carolina Goldrusher — Attraction in Charlotte

Honestly, this was always my favorite ride! I like to sit on the very back row. This is a shaky roller coaster. It's so much fun to get younger ones on this ride. They say they are ready! I tell them to put their hands up in the aid! It goes so quickly it seems to end too soon! I even love the smells that bring this old coaster its' old fashioned unique experience. Look dude(t), if you are taller than 6'1" this ride is probably not for you. It's hard to fit in the carts and could make your ride really uncomfortable. This is a great ride for kids and medium adults. I used to ride it when I was younger, and shorter. But now, with the aforementioned legroom constraints, it is pretty uncomfortable. This ride is low-speed but it's very low to the ground and has a lot of smooth banking turns and open tunnels that give you that rushing experience. This ride has been here for a while and is a classic. Definitely take your kids and others...

Place has alot to offer but also rules at every turn....some that are made up on the fly. For instance you can use goggles in the water park with detachable nose piece but not a one piece goggle/nose piece. I've actually been thrown out of the part for questioning policy....so be on your best behavior....I've also never been to the park without something broken down... there is always one or two rides closed. Make sure you buy your ticket ahead of time as a one day ticket is not available at the gate....so if you only plan on attending one day buy...
