Fury 325 is without a doubt perhaps the greatest coaster that was built in the 2010's. For speed enthusiasts it goes 95 mph. For airtime enthusiasts it has flowjector airtime that tries to buck you out of your seat. For fans of weightlessness it has a 325 ft drop that'll leave you squirming in your seat because it feels like it lasts an eternity!

This was my 3rd giga coaster after Millennium Force and Leviathan and because of the fact that this coaster relies so heavily on speed to make an impression it stays low to the ground for a good portion of the ride with a lot of banked turns and a treble clef element that leads into the "hive dive" where it goes under the bridge that guests cross to get to the front gate of Carowinds. My favorite part of the ride is the awesome airtime hill right before the helix. The first time I rode it the temperature was like 90-95 degrees and I was in the 2nd row. I wasn't expecting so much airtime and I put both my hands up. I had what seemed to be 5 whole seconds of airtime..... ABSOLUTELY INSANE!!!!!!

I also rode it in the front row. The views are great but the wind in my face kinda took away from the experience. I'm not a fan of the 325 ft drop which was very intense like Leviathan at Canada's Wonderland and I refused to sit back farther than the 3rd row. The views up at the top of the lift hill are unbelievable. The lateral forces on the turns are fun and I actually rode it when the crack was starting over the summer. It's been fixed now and is operational again. Overall, its a phenomenal coaster but we coaster enthusiasts have our favorites for different reasons and while I rode it 4 times during my visit I still like and enjoy Intimidator better since I'm an airtime enthusiast. If you're scared to ride it do it anyway. You won't regret it and once you ride it other coasters will seem so much milder in...

The rides were awsome the amusement park personally does nothing but a rip off. I bought a season pass I specifically went through an operator to make sure I got everything right. I asked her how many people on a card and she told me 6 tipo so I brought 6 people with me to cover that card. Come to find out the card only is for one person. You can bring up to 6 people as bring a friend for card. So then I had to pay an extra $197 to get 5 more people in period we had to share my food or shall I say my dining card goes a booty so expensive $25 for a pepperoni pizza wow. Couldn't even get a salad on my dining card we had to get spaghetti. Everywhere I went I asked him what is my season pass cover here they told me a give me a 10% discount which I was supposed to have the dining card and I did not even get to use it the unlimited drinks was great but I had to get a purple Cup that's the yearly 1I got peacocks for everybody out and that was only A-day cup $15 a cup can you believe that ship and then it was so hot we could name a drink pop all we did is drink water. Next time I'll stay with their paper cups. But the rides were awesome my kids and grand kids had a really good time period also I will tell you that the main guy in the customer service Darrell gave us 10 tickets to go through the fast lane to try to make up for what I had to spend. I still don't think it was worth that's almost over a $1000 for 1 dam day that is freaking crazy I talk about I forgot all the extra special rides like the ricochet, the Slingshot, and all exciting rides like that you have to pay cash that does not include your season fast and that does not include going in to the park so from my experience please make sure you investigate and you research this place before you decide to take your...

Great Amusement park!

Buy your tickets online because they are $25 cheaper. I imagine this keeps employees numbers much lower and reduces operational costs.

We went on a Friday and the park was virtually empty so we were able to go on rides multiple times.

I HUGE benefit to this park is the kids waterpark area is fenced with a child-proof locking mechanism so no young child can inadvertently disappear when they are running around playing.

-WORRY FREE KID WATER AREA- This is a huge advantage for parents with young kids.-

Although it was really hot and their were limited shaded seats available, we were able to find a partial shaded area to set our stuff while I watched it and the kids ran around playing in an area they could not escape from!

We rode rides in the morning and around 1-3pm enjoyed the water park area to cool down then rode more ride while we dried off before departing.

The park was pretty clean but we did notice many bees, wasps, and large ants in shady areas and around some coke/soda refill areas. We brought bug spray but wasps and bees do not seem to care so if you have an allergic reaction to bees or wasps plan accordingly.

Shops are run by a single person during the week so at random times any given shop may closed for a short period of time and then open back up again.

There are posted signs about shoes and shirts once you exit the water park area but no one seemed to enforce them some customers.

You can refill the souvenir cup every 15 minutes but no one really tracks it so two souvenir cups were sufficient for us to save money and enjoy our time there while remaining hydrated.

Water is super expensive so these souvenir cups were a life saver...

I've ridden almost 300 different coasters in North America as of this writing, and Fury 325 has been my favorite since my final ride on it in 2017. It's got a bit of everything and above all is the most fun I've ever had on one coaster in my life. If you like huge drops, Fury has one. If you like big overbanked turns taken slow so you hang sideways, Fury has two. If you like overbanks taken at top speed low to the ground, Fury has two back to back that go over paths. If you like airtime hills, Fury has three at the end. If you like a long helix, Fury has that too. And if you like sideways airtime, or have never experienced it, Fury's treble clef or "hive dive" has that too. If you like comfy restraints and smooth rides look no further. If you like a long ride Fury is up your alley. If you like a well paced ride, Fury has no breaks in pacing. The only things Fury doesn't have is theming, trees, and inversions, and it frankly doesn't need any of those things. For me, Fury is just about perfect. It's tall, long, fast, well paced, and full of a balanced variety of forces and elements.

This ride is absolutely PHENOMENAL!!!!! This coaster starts with a never ending 320 foot drop, reaching speeds of 95 miles per hour, it actually feels like it could rip your face off! The following turns are so whippy that you get little airtime pops going in and out of them. The treble clef turnaround has good positives going up and a very sustained pop of sideways airtime that lasts until you hit the bottom in that tunnel. The big airtime hill has excellent sustained floater airtime, its almost ejector. The following helix has an crazy head-chopper effect with support. The last airtime hills are so well done. All of this is being done with some of the most comfortable trains and restraints with not a single bad transition. This ride has everything I want in a roller coaster, which is why it is my favorite roller coaster of all time!
