I got the gluten free cheese pizzas twice. I really enjoyed them. I also got the beef brisket with BBQ sauce which was amazing! I did not get the sides available with the pizza or brisket - I got a bag of chips instead which was allowed and included in the All Day Dining Plan.
I got the ribs and I've got to say they were really dry and I felt like I'd wasted my money but I went up to a manager and asked if there was anyway I could get it replaced with something else... They replaced it for me with the beef brisket which I requested instead. So, A+ customer service.
My husband got the burger and fries which he said were good. He also got the regular pizza which he said tasted like something you'd get from a high school cafeteria. Edible, okay, but not amazing... Lastly, he got a wrap which he said was really good - it had lettuce, cheese, and meat in it. The lettuce was crisp and the inside wasn't soggy (which can be a problem with wraps).
I highly recommend Harmony Hall for your dining experience...
Read moreI have been vegan for nearly 6 years for religious and personal reasons. When I asked for a plant based burger in Harmony Hall, I was given a real- beef burger. As soon as I saw it I noticed it looked quite real, yet I went against my better judgment and decided to trust the dining hall staff. After one bite it was evident I had eaten a beef burger. I returned the burger to the dining staff where I was given the plant-based burger, severely undercooked. I couldn’t even eat it. I was disgusted by the beef burger I ate, as my religious and personal beliefs felt violated. The dining staff needs to do a better job of ensuring they are serving the correct food! I can only imagine if I had an allergy, and was severely injured because of the staff at Carowinds. For me to pay as much as I did for food, I expect to have my dietary needs met. I am extremely disappointed with the service I received and will not be returning to Harmony Hall, perhaps any restaurant at Carowinds...
Read moreLove carowinds, and go weekly. Harmony hall has long been a favorite of ours because there are soooo many options available there. My favorite used to be the chicken quesadilla, but I have recently started the keto diet and that option doesn't work anymore. The last two years I have noticed that the quality and service have deteriorated some. The portion sizes are not where they used to be, and many meals don't really seem worth the 12-13 dollar price. That's without drink. I have the meal plan, so I don't mind it as much. But not everyone coming to carowinds does, but everyone receives the same food. As to service, the cashiers are always friendly and well trained, but some of the servers do not seem very happy. They can sometimes give the impression that they really dont want to be there. I would recommend going to blue ridge country kitchen as it is new and the food and staff are much more in line with what harmony...
