ChiroCarolina — Attraction in Charlotte

Extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism from this office. I’ve been seen in the office all of two times (only once with the Dr. starting January 2020). The reason I stopped going is because my last appointment the doctor was a no show due to an emergency and it wasn’t communicated with me prior to my appointment. Fast forward to several months later, I’m sent a bill that I owe $1255. I follow up to speak with the billing department/manager, Harriet Conan and she states it wasn’t billed through insurance. Cool. I tell her to run it through my insurance (even though I gave them my insurance card on the first visit). It’s now September and I haven’t heard anything but Harriet emphasizes that it takes a while for the insurance to process claims. Okay, cool. I am now receiving the most unprofessional email I’ve ever received February 2021 (a year later). I call to follow up because why am I still receiving a bill for something that should have been taken care of a year ago. Harriet’s response is:

“We sent it to the address on file and didn’t receive payment” “I wrote off $900+ so you still owe us $250” “I’ve had other things to take care of”

The issue I have is I’ve been in contact with this office multiple times trying to get this taken care of and the manager has neglected my concerns. Now, her way of “fixing” it is stating that she wrote off “900+” worth of services that I should have never been charged for to begin with.

As you can see I'm still a patient here and it's been a great relief to know that I can still get an appointment a day out and sometimes the same day, when I put myself on the list for any open spots. My reviews remain the same, I'm happy with my results and Dr Ali knows what he's doing. It's not always adjustments, but the therapy options in pain relief and the fact that he knows exactly what methods to use for your pain. See my previous reviews below. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

UPDATE: Feb 2023

I've been coming to Dr Ali for a few years now and he never disappoints. My previous work injury has left me with intermittent flare ups, with my neck, back and knees. There's times when I need adjustments and times when I only need the hot/cold treatments with the machine that gets deep into my muscles. Dr Ali knows exactly what he's doing and I always leave feeling on the mend. Thanks again Dr Ali.

In 2006, my husband and I moved to Charlotte from Georgia due to his job transfer with AT&T. I immediately began to look for a "hands-on" chiropractor where I might go and get adjustments. I know when a chiropractor is good and when one is not because I have experienced many different chiropractors and chiropractic adjustments down through the years...starting at the age of 9. I can truthfully say that both Dr. Ali and Dr. Saario treat their patients with the utmost care by providing adjustments and therapies suited to each individual need.
