Boba Koala — Restaurant in Charlotte

This place is hands down the best in all Charlotte and surround areas for boba!! The owners are friendly and cooperative! It's in a nice quiet location with great outdoor seating. Grab a Boba or refresher, honestly anything cause it all tastes superb, and enjoy the coming spring, summer or fall weather! The food is hot, and amazing! I've tried the Boba, aloe juice and the freshers! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu! The Boba itself is perfectly made! Not hard nor chewy and definitely not over saturated with the honey syrup. While your at it, grab a cute Boba bear as well! Very hard to find in the USA and in stores! It's a must buy and collect!

It's also a small convenient store so store by if you need snack, medication, cola, etc. Feel free to ask the owner questions and don't forget to show a little appreciation for the perfection they provide by tipping a little.

I stopped in last week for a treat. I passed the owner while walking to the store but needed to use the bathroom first (down the hall, behind the security desk). I got my order and was walking back to my car and there was a security guard taking a picture of my license plate. I said "what the hell?" while waiving my purchase in my hand. She responded that they have had problems with people parking in the Boba Koala spots all day. I said that I understood that, but the sign says 15 MINUTES and I was only in that spot for 5 minutes.

We both walked back into the store where the woman who rang me up verified I had purchased something. I felt like a criminal!

I am NEVER going back to a shop that treats PAYING customers like this.

I’ve been going here for a few days now and I can say the overall experience is very comfortable. It’s atmosphere is nothing super extravagant but also not super plain. It’s a nice place to have a small stop and relax. They offer a variety of boba drinks, slushes, teas and buns. It’s also partially a convenance store that offers general supplies.
