CHURCH!!
Roxanne was awesome! We are visiting NC and decided to take a tour so we could both enjoy the city together without the stress of driving through the city. My key take aways that made it worth it for me: 1) the length of the trip made for a fully enjoyable cruise through town where lots of information was given. Worth the price tag in my opinion. 2) there is a halfway pit stop for a bathroom break and a place to get more booze! 3) you can drink alcohol on this tour. While it's not provided, it's encouraged and welcomed!
The cons:
Thats it 😂 no other cons! Its not wheelchair accessible to my understanding. If youre ambulatory, im sure you could of made your way up there and store the chair in the back of the bus. But wheelchair bound would not work. I dont recommend this to children or people who are easily offended. A stroller would also not work in this environment. Our tour did not include any political talk (thank god) which was a relief. Roxanne personalized the trip by talking to us personally and getting know us. The bus driver was the most impressive part.. i can not believe he could navigate the city with such ease 😅 mad respect to chris and his smooth sailing! All in all, it was very informative and had a nice balance of comedy and learning experiences.
I would recommend this tour to people new to NC, thinking about moving here, people who want to hit a hot spot for lunch/dinner, people who can take a joke, curious people who just like to hang out, and anyone who wants to fact check the tour 😂 10/10, it was an awesome experience and the...
Read moreMy friends and I took this tour and yes it started out great, but it ended horribly. The comedian, JJ started off with comedic banter with me and then at some point, got in his feelings with me interacting with him. Was I engaging in his comedy relief? Yes, but according to him I was disruptive and that lead to me getting kicked off the bus. Not only that, but in so many words he explicitly wished "death" on me stating something to the effect that he wished I got hit by a vehicle. I don't take lightly to threats and if someone sets the tone for engaging comedy and we are speaking with one another then that should be the expectation. We weren't intoxicated, we weren't trying to steal the show (although I think those were his thoughts), nor did I agree with being put off and not even receiving a partial refund for myself and the other guests that were with me. I spoke with the owner, Lisa and according to her, he was joking with the death matter, although his tone changed completely. Unfortunately this was my experience, and I to express my discomfort and hurt by this whole situation. It's ok for him to do it, but if a customer talks or engages, then be prepared to be put off the bus. Luckily, I didn't get hit by a vehicle getting off...and no that...
