🤵‍♂️👰‍♀️My wife and I had the our ceremony and wedding reception here and couldn’t be happier! 🌸 The garden is a little urban oasis right outside of Uptown Charlotte in the Noda neighborhood. This is exactly what we had in mind when we got engaged. 📖 The staff’s organization and planning is one of the many reason’s that our wedding day was the best day of our lives. Kelvin and Ashlynn were very helpful and assertive. It felt as if the team would identify and solve problems before they would arise. Kelvin and Ashlynn really gave my wife and I 💯 % confidence in the staff’s coordinating abilities. 🍾🥂 The bar staff was awesome! All of our drinks were made exactly how we had imagined. Although as the groom all of my drinks brought to me 🤣 all of my friends and family members mentioned how helpful they were and how quick they got their drinks! I can say that we any time that my wife and I are in Charlotte we will hopefully be visiting the Rose Gardens. We would also recommend to anyone considering getting married here to save your date!

Wine. Coffee. Wine. The sign outside. Around 2, and not too long of a wait. Salted caramel and rosemary lattes. Perfectly balanced, not too sweet. We exit into the garden. Not something you see everyday tucked into a small downtown spot. Power lines above next door, but otherwise immerse yourself in a mini getaway from a city, and close your eyes, breathe in the floral essence. A nice break from reality. Upon our first few steps, we sit on a metal bench and catch up. Dates. Families strolling by, dogs, kids, babies strapped to their dads. A mix of people. Sunny day but not hot. Lots of roses and herbs. Quaint little garden with rocked pathways. A table filled with plants for sale by a local special needs group. These folks trying their green thumb on display for purchase to donate proceeds to the cause. Love that. An outside bar with a line, but we were coffee only. Small parking lot, but not hard to find parking in the area.

Rosie’s/McGill is one of my favorite places in Charlotte. The garden oasis is enough of a draw but Rosie’s wine bar is next level: kind staff who are highly knowledgeable about the excellent wine selection. It was a no-brainer to get married here but I never could have predicted how perfect it would be! From the day we toured until even now, a month after our wedding, Rosie’s has been so amazing to us. They are a well-oiled machine when it comes to weddings but still manage to treat each one like it’s the most important event that year! Dan and Kiara were so patient with my Type-A planning and helped me make all my wedding dreams a reality. On the day, I knew I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Of course the venue is gorgeous and such an incredible setting for your wedding but the people made the day perfect. Highly recommend for any event! Photo credit: Dani Keane Photography

Very disappointed. This place was not truthful about the service. There are very little blooms in the garden. The arch fell down during the ceremony due to the facility not securing the frame. The staff was very rude to my daughter and guests. There was an event going on during our practice ceremony which was not communicated during the show of the venue. Also it is mandatory that you use QC Catering company. The price they quoted us less than half of what we paid. Basically we coughed up alot of money last minute. It was false advertisement. They will quote you a price and wait until close to the day of the even and quote you another price. They will not send the paper work for the quote until first you choose the McGill rose garden and secure them with 75% deposit then they contact QC Catering and QC Catering then quote you a price that is more than half of what McGill told you. Also, the food was cold and the staff of QC Catering packed up food for themselves before our guests were done eating. We have a count of our guests and they will lie and say you had more guests than you did so they can feed their staff from food that you paid for. Do not use this place. I would not even give them 3 stars. They were extremely rude. The space is overrated. Its all hooplah. The staff does not serve and did not serve us we were told it was that expensive to cover staff serving, however staff stood around and did nothing all night. Very disappointing. I am pursuing...

McGill Rose Garden is ethereal, romantic, and adorably quirky with statues in nooks in crannies for your guests to wander upon. The roses are in bloom way longer than you'd expect and there are swoon-worthy scenes all over the garden perfect for pictures. But beyond the beautiful venue are people who care about giving you the wedding of your dreams. We were warned by everyone "things go wrong, just let it go!" And I was prepared for that. What I wasn't prepared for was for absolutely nothing to go wrong. Our wedding was perfect. The timing, all the gorgeous flowers, the fine details that were more so for us than the guests...it was all flawless and that's completely because of the staff at McGill and Nectar. I will be forever grateful to Karisa and Ashlyn for the guidance, quick responses, and thought put into our wedding because even though it was only a day, we worked together for almost a year on the planning. You can go with a venue that wow's based on size, expense, cool exhibits, or even because you think it's trendy but ultimately, it's the team behind the venue who makes sure your vision comes to life. I think McGill wow's because their team makes sure the garden reflects exactly what you want it to for your big day. For us that was genuine love (and a darn good party for our friends). 15/10 from this...
