Premium Nails & Spa — Attraction in Charlotte

I tried this salon for the first time a week ago on the 6th & loved it. The atmosphere was quiet & nice & the selection was amazing. I have natural nails & I do a dip overlay. I was originally very happy w/ my nails, but unfortunately one of my nails broke within 10 days of my getting them done. I gave them a second chance today however bc I did something different & did the “cat eye” which apparently consisted of gel & dip on the nail. After today’s experience, however, I will not be back. Admittedly they didn’t do anything too bad, and I actually did not allow them to do my nails at all, I just didn’t like the attitude I was given. Long story short, as previously mentioned, my nail broke, had to be done today. Today is the only day my bf & I have to spend together so we decided to make a date out of it & he would get a mani/pedi. They were understaffed & could not accommodate us in the way we wanted, (doing our pedicures & manicures at the same time as each other). No big deal, tried to tell the man that we wanted our pedicures done together so we would be going somewhere else, he caught an attitude and tried to over-talk me. We left. Had he not caught an attitude I would be back. All in all, they are worth giving a try. Idk if their nails not lasting is a common thing or not, but if you have natural nails be weary that, that could be a thing. Also, if you’re going w/ a friend & want to have your services done at the same time, call ahead & make sure that they’re staffed to be able to accommodate you in that. They have managed to do it again! I’m so proud of Premium Nail Spa their other location that has only open about 3 months. I normally go to the one I posted a couple years near the Premium Outlet Mall. However, Amanda who do my nails so perfectly and highly recommended if you want detailed and professional work done please for her she has been doing my nails now for at least 3 yrs and I’m not changing unless something happens and I pray it doesn’t. When I walked into the other Premium Nail Spa I was blown away this one is absolutely gorgeous, I’m very particular where I go because I’m bougie and this one just took my breath away. The marble floors, the exquisite chandeliers, The beautiful leather seats for pedicure and also for doing nails.was top notch material. The arrangement of the nail color wall section was amazing. Just like the other shop stunning with expectational service with a smile ready to serve every customer with respect and class. Please enjoy the pictures and really go see for yourself it’s beautiful I’ve to many places and I look for eloquence, cleanness, and class and they have never failed me. You just know by the appearance of places how they are going to take care of their customers by the way they take of their business. It’s thought into it and amount of money they make their spa’s feel exactly that. I came in yesterday to get my toenails and nails done and was told Ann would do my nails after my pedicure. The place was busy so it took a while to be seen for my pedicure (totally got it as I was a walk-in), but Lynda did a good job and I was happy with them. We finished up and I was told maybe 5-10 minutes to see Ann to get started on my other services. I waited 30 minutes and then had to leave. Unfortunately I don't have 3+ hours to get my nails and toenails done.

Since I couldn't get them done yesterday, before I left the salon, I made an appointment in advance with Ann to get my nails done at noon today. I walked in at noon and saw another client in Ann's chair. My first reaction was "no biggie, she must be finishing them up", but after waiting 30 minutes past my appointment time, I couldn't wait any longer and had to leave.

What is the point of making an appointment at this salon if you cannot be seen on time or even within a 10-15 minute window? This was pretty poor business management on Premium Nails & Spas end and I walked out frustrated.

I don't think I will return to Premium Nails again, which is a sad because they are so conveniently located for me.

Going to give Nini and Co next door a try this afternoon. Hoping for better...
