Home, Depot South Blvd return review.. I WENT in to make a return. Tanisha was at the return desk. I shop at Home Depot everyday nd I dont write reviews very often . I am an electrical contractor and I explained I wanted to make a return with no receipt. Tanisha quickly handed me a receipt and said she couldn't accept my return and I needed to call a phone number. this was disappointing. she further went on to explain to me that if I would save my receipts it would Aid in returns. What she could have done instead is asked me if I had a Pro rewards account. I had the receipt in my car as I have a pile of them. I started to go out to my car a little upset because she seemed to relish and be very short about rejecting my return. I realized that if I gave her my Pro rewards phone number the receipt would probably pull right up. I forgot to mention that I asked for a Home Depotmanager prior to starting to walk out to my car and the manager as well offered zero help in solving my issue. It would have been nice to Simply here I would like to help you or I understand your frustration with the situation. None of this was ever offered which would have really made me feel a lot better about them rejecting my return as I had a customer who was without heat for 4 days and I was trying to quickly get a circuit breaker installed before and inspector came by and filled the job to make the people spend another night in the cold. I went back to the return desk and gave them my Pro reward number. The five items all instantly popped up and subsequently I requested cash because I had paid cash. Tanisha said okay. Then said I can't give you cash. At this point frustrated I replied sure you can. Again it would not have been nearly as frustrating if My Home Depot associateTanisha would have said I'm sorry I can't give you cash because the items were purchased more than 3 months ago. When I did ask why she replied they're out of policy. Because I have shopped there for 20 years I knew what you meant but I very well may have not understood and it was a quick and attitude charge response from Tanisha. The entire process at this Home Depot facility in Charlotte was frustrating and as I reviewed my experience I felt that if she had the power she would probably have banned me from the store at least this was the body language and signals I received from her. She stated sir I'm not being rude to you so please don't be rude to me. I was frustrated but I don't believe I was rude I do believe that it was an unpleasant conversation which could have been completely avoided had she shown a bit of professionalism and empathy and tried to help me with my problem instead of taking everything personally and acting like we were brother and sister at home having a quarrel. I got my store credit and put the breaker in and the people got their heat turned back on. All in all the entire interaction was unprofessional charged with emotion on the representatives part and she was extremely defensive and rude. That is specifically why I chose to write this review about my Charlotte Home Depot interaction with an employee. It's a shame that in this day and age because small hardware stores have all gone out of business now such large companies will hire people and keep them on who treat the customers like an unwanted distraction to their daily routine. I hope that they incorporate some training for people that work with returns to teach them to show empathy respect and concern for the needs and request of the customer who pays their paycheck. I'm not holding my breath but I did take my precious time to write this knowing that other people have the same experience I hope and my hope is that the management at Home Depot will read this and make some changes accordingly again I'm not...

HUGE disappointment with the abysmal service I received at Home Depot South Blvd. Recently, I encountered an issue with a charge of $773 that should have never been debited from my account in the first place. Despite countless attempts to rectify the situation, Home Depot has left me in the lurch, dangling on a thread of frustration and financial distress for over two weeks.
The root of this debacle lies in a transaction that mysteriously vanished from their system, purportedly voided but somehow still managed to deduct a significant sum from my account. It's crazy that a charge that doesn't exist in their records but continues to show in my bank statement. How can a company as prominent as Home Depot allow such a gross mishap to occur and then offer no concrete solutions?
My interactions with the managerial staff at Home Depot South Blvd have been a rollercoaster of emotions, swinging between moments of hopeful assistance and instances of outright rudeness. While some managers displayed empathy and attempted to assist in resolving the issue, others callously dismissed my concerns, insisting there was nothing they could do. This dismissive attitude is not only disrespectful, but emblematic of a systemic failure within the organization to prioritize customer satisfaction.
What adds insult to injury is the sheer lack of urgency displayed in addressing this matter. A sum as substantial as $773 is not to take slightly; it represents hard-earned money that I am now unjustly deprived of. To be kept waiting for over two weeks without any semblance of progress or resolution is nothing short of a betrayal of trust.
As a customer, I expect more from Home Depot. I expect accountability, transparency, and prompt action in remedying their mistakes. Instead, I am left feeling disrespected. It's incomprehensible how a company of such repute can fail so bad in basic customer service principles.
In conclusion, my experience with Home Depot South Blvd has been nothing short of a nightmare. Their inability to rectify a simple transactional error has caused me undue stress and financial hardship I implore Home Depot to take immediate action to rectify this situation and restore my faith in their brand. Until then, I caution fellow consumers to tread carefully when entrusting their business to this establishment.
And yes, I already contacted my bank and they confirmed the money was taken and deducted from my bank account. I gave a letter to HD and one of the employees talked to my...
Read moreYesterday I went to that store to return and item and I had an awful experience. It started well and when down the rabbit hole. I was by the checkout and a man I believe his name is Walt very nice took my to the return section (mind you I hate some of the staff there because of my previous experience). When we got there they was just looking at us. A lady that helped me before for my credit card application last year asked one of the staff there to help me with my return I canât remember her name but I believe sheâs a supervisor a sweet young woman she helped us so many times when we bought doors for a project. The girl she asked to help me went off on her like crazy very disrespectful and started cursing and yelling at her obviously didnât wanted to do it, I felt so bad for her you could tell she wasnât happy but she kept smiling at me and apologized. I was so in shock and the supervisor lady was trying to calm her down and ask her not to do that in front of customers but that girl was just going on and off. She didnât even interact with me didnât great or anything. Other staff was just looking at her in disbelief and said nothing I guess they were just as shocked as I was. It was a very disappointing experience and I felt bad for that supervisor I wish I remembered her name because if her staff can talk to her like that just imagine what they do to customers. She had to leave because the girl wonât stop yelling after she tried calming her down multiple times. Thatâs very disappointing my wife and I spent lots of money at that store for our business and they have great staff but the people at that return section some of them are just crazy. By the way Iâm giving a 5 star âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸ to that supervisor for keeping her cool and smiling the...
