|The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and staff was friendly, as other reviewers have commented. That is the extent of the pros.||FIRST PROBLEM: When making reservation online, it required an ID verification, to include a driver's license photo. When I tried to complete that, it kept rejecting my attempts. I finally gave up, thinking since I had received an email confirming my reservation, I was good to go. On the morning of check-in, I received a text from 350@Loso, informing me that unless I complete the ID verification online that the booking would be canceled. I was instructed to call or text the number given. My phone call to them went to voicemail and the text went nowhere. No one responded. I was due to check in THAT VERY DAY. We drove like a bat out of hell to get to the hotel early so that they wouldn't cancel. Upon arrival, we were promptly told by the desk clerk that the hotel would not have canceled our reservation, regardless (!!!!).|Fast forward to actual check-in later in the day: Before getting my key, I was photographed from chin up. When I asked the reason for this, I was told "it's related to covid." The pandemic is long past. Makes one wonder if they are located in a high-crime area and need to take photos of possible "criminals" who may check in. The surrounding area looks rather sketchy.||SECOND PROBLEM: Go to the room and THERE WAS NO PHONE IN THE ROOM!!! We had a couple of issues and had to trek down from the 5th floor to the lobby and make contact with the desk clerk IN PERSON. What reputable hotel puts you in a room without direct phone access to the desk in case of emergency???!!! I requested the clerk's phone number so that I could call her using my smartphone. She would only give me "the manager's" number, and then the manager would relay the message to her. This manager did not appear to be on premises.||In summary, I would NEVER, EVER stay in this hotel again, and I would advise everyone to...
Read moreI don't normally leave reviews but I have to say that this hotel is in a great location, has awesome staff from the desk to the management to the room cleaners. Nice, clean and quiet. Another guest gave a negative review because her dog was attacked. It was my dog and I am totally at fault. I was walking both dogs and the owner had just taken his dog out of their truck. My dogs are Service Pets and they are good with all people but my older dog is going blind and has a leash aggression when it sees other dogs. I know that but I panicked and the leash came out of my hand and I was unable to stop my dog from attacking. I put both dogs back in the room and came back down to check on the attacked dog. The female owner was understandably upset. I confessed that it was all my fault and that I would pay for the Vet bill. I didn't know it would come to over $300 so I asked if I could do a payment plan and they agreed. She still called Animal Control and they came out and got my side of the story which was pretty much what she said. They met the dogs and saw my dogs shots were up to date and they were convinced that the dogs were not aggressive and that it was an accident. The dog owner is a bitter and hard to get along with individual. I understand the anger at the moment but she then calls my dogs aggressive and blames the hotel for allowing aggressive dogs to stay there. I was only there for about 7 days and the staff and some guest were able to pet them with no problems. They would only bark if someone knocked at the door or they saw another dog. I am so sorry for what happened to her dog because it was innocent and didn't do anything to cause the attack. I take full blame for my dog's actions. There wasn't any blood from what I could see. I will give an update with what the Vet has to say about it's injuries once they return my...
Read moreMy stay at the 315 LoSo Hotel in Charlotte was an absolute nightmare.||The room reeked of mildew and mustiness, making it uncomfortable from the start. Maintenance||was severely lacking: faucets barely worked, door latches didnt secure properly, and the shower||drain was constantly clogged. The elevator had a blinking alarm light on the entire time, and the fire||panel at the front desk was frequently going off. The staff were clearly unqualified to handle it, which||was unsettling and indicated a lack of proper maintenance.||||Security was non-existent, with side doors propped open and no personnel to be seen, despite the||sketchy surroundings with visible drug dealing and prostitution. Loud music blasted from rooms on||the first floor, making it feel more like a nightclub than a hotel.||||I had to book a second night unexpectedly, and the price jumped from around $95 the first night to||$160 the second night. After paying that, a staff member came to my room and knocked on the||door, telling me I had to pay an additional $50 due to "pricing increases" for that night. This||unexpected and steep price hike nearly doubled the cost from my first night, adding insult to injury.||||They charged a security deposit each night and kept both deposits. They claimed both were kept for||the same reasonminor, easily cleanable stains on towels and sheetsdespite the charges being on||separate nights. After reading other reviews, its clear this is a common scam they run to squeeze||extra money from guests.||||This place is a disaster from top to bottom. Save yourself the headache and...
