This museum is solid on its own. Interesting exhibits, always something thought provoking, and they rotate often enough that it’s worth coming back. They’ve got some beautiful glass art pieces too, if that’s your thing. What really stood out to me, though, is that once a month on a Wednesday, admission is free. And they lean into it. The day I went, they had family yoga, and there were tons of activities for kids. It’s clearly something they put effort into, not just a throwaway promo.Another plus: it’s right next to a walking path, which kind of makes it a great low key first date spot. You can do the museum, take a walk after, and it feels like you’ve done something thoughtful without trying too hard. Overall, worth checking out, especially on a free Wednesday.

Lovely museum highly recommend coming out! Admissions is like $15 but you get access for two days along with the Mint museum in uptown, so breaks down for like $7.50 a museum which is awesome! I saw a lot of individuals attempting to construed security being present as individuals go from room to room but from what I saw they simply put in the miles, security was hot lapping the spot so don’t think they are singling you out.

The exhibits were beautiful and amazing. The only issue I had was at every turn, security was there. It felt like, every room we(my partner and I) entered, security was there..a little creepy. I've been to other museums and this never happens. This was the second time coming to the Mint and the same thing happened the first time. Don't think I'll be coming back.
