The Music Yard at SouthBound — Attraction in Charlotte

Overall, the place was nice. Good band. Good time. There were 2 bartenders, a female inside and a male inside. The female was rude and shor the first time I dealt with her. The second time she refused to serve me because "they can make those drinks outside" upon going outside, I requested a margarita with salt. I was informed there was no salt and if I didn't like I I didn't have to order a drink. There was another bar tender that was extremely awesome and I chose to deal with him instead. At the end of the night I tried to close my tab with the pleasant person. The rude male stepped up and told me if I wanted to close out, I had to deal with him or I could leave. I was verbally accosted for trying to deal with the nic person instead.

I left zero tip on the tab, handed the nice person a $20 bill and was sworn at as I walked away from the bar.

This is a nice medium sized venue that features great world class DJS and some bands and is open from 6 till 11. It has a good sound system and a pretty good lazer and light show that creates a club type atmosphere. The venue features artificial grass that is ok for dancing and is adjacent to a restaurant that offers good food and drinks. There is also a small bar in the main part of the venue for easy access. There is also a backroom that has a full sized bar which they recently have started to use for after parties for bigger shows that usually is open till 1 till 2 am. me & my gf went for a “chappell roan” dance party, the bartender was amazing (blonde younger girl, she was busy so i didn’t catch her name) but the dj ??? it said it started at 6 & they played random music until 7:30 & they switched the dj, im writing this actively at 10:00 ( it ends at 11) & they have played two chappell roan songs this whole time. i’m just feel really disappointed considering i’ve been here for 4 hours & i was expecting to listen to music that i know (that was in the description). & don’t market yourself as a “girly pop dance party” if you are not going to...
