I have a 2 for the following reasons: Visited this salon a few days ago with my 2 daughters. It was part of my daughter's birthday celebration. We all got manicures and pedicures. One daughter did a full SNS set and the other, Gel-X with a design of her choosing. Both walked out with beautiful nails. I did a gel mani/pedi. It was the worse gel manicure I have ever gotten; only because I requested she back off using the nail grinder because it was hitting some sensitive spots.
Before we even left the salon, I was the subject of their conversations in Vietnamese. But even with that, the manager never inquired on my concerns.
As I paid, ($300+) later, all he said to me was "the technician told me you did not want your nails filed". Not at all what I requested. Do they not have the manual files? The salon was by no means busy. Needless to say, my finished nails looked like a roller coaster. I showed him the finished product, but of course his response was because I "requested no filing". Who does a manicure with no filing? We had to leave ti make our lunch appointment.
But by the time I got to the parking lot, the gel was lifting on my middle finger. I returned to show him, to which he threw $5 at me as compensation. By the time I got home, the gel had started lifting in the middle of my thumbnail, only to reveal the wet sticky gel. I called back and the owner was very rude, blaming the wet gel on the lack of filing. He offered me to come back in, but being that I am from out of town I did not know how long it would be traffic wise to travel back. I took an appointment for the nextday. When my daughter informed me that I could make it there in time, I called back and within less than 10 minutes, they were fully booked.
He agreed to fix only the 2 nails. I went back the next day and of course as he took me back, all eyes were on me - they were talking again. Even the lady who fixed my nails asked if I had gotten a manicure as my cuticles looked awful. She had to trim the cuticles on the two fingers.
Thank goodness I took my own nail color and my daughter has a UV dryer and gel top coat. I spent last evening filing and smoothing out my nails. That should not...

UPDATED REVIEW: I stand corrected, this is the first time that a business has reached out to me to apologize and offer to fix something free of charge. Shortly after leaving my original review, I received a phone call directly from the nail salon and they offered to have me come in. They shared that sometimes things like this happen, and they are willing to fix their work as long as it is within one week of the original service. I am truly impressed by their level of professionalism and their willingness to go out of their way for customer satisfaction. That alone has earned them my business. Thank you, thank you, thank you US Nails Spa for being a true professional in this business!!
Original review: I am not too sure how to feel about this place, the location is beautiful, they were clean which I'm a stickler about, however the result of my gel manicure is subpar. I went on a Thursday night to to get a gel manicure and a basic pedicure, the pedicure was wonderful and the nail color looks great and is still on. Unfortunately for my gel manicure, by the time Sunday night came I already saw my nails having air pockets in them near the cuticle so they are ready to start chipping. I didn't do anything crazy like soak my hands in water or do the dishes, I normally just put them in the dishwasher anyway.
It's the first time I come to this location because I saw the good reviews but I'm disappointed and don't believe I'll be coming back again, I can continue going to the same place I've always been to and ask for the same beautiful DND gel...
Read moreI was not lucky enough to have a good experience like some other people on here. I was very disappointed because they do have variety and seem to offer good services but the attitude was not there.
First of all, my nail lady kept trying to convince me to go for a different service than what I requested both with the pedicure and the polish. She did a poor job with the pedicure and polish. To the point where my right pinky toe was half painted. My husband walked in for a pedicure too and she told me to tell him to "get a good pedicure", meaning not a basic pedicure which was enough for him. Most men don't really want all that anyway and if a basic pedicure is done well it should be "good".
Then we got to the manicure. I needed a new set and I told her I wanted acrylic with regular polish. I didn't want gel polish and she kept pushing it. When she was attaching the tips she got glue all over my fingers and didn't bother to clean it up. I knew this was going to be a problem. I've had acrylics 15 years so I asked her to clean the glue off. She did a poor job of that too. Then when she got to shaping them I told her I wanted them square. I pulled my hands away several times as she cut 5 of my 10 fingers. I even had to ask her several times to reshape them because they were uneven and she kept arguing with me about it and mumbling to the other techs. That was incredibly disrespectful.
If I'm paying for a service I want it done correctly: properly shaped, properly painted and with courtesy. Accidents happen but 5 cuts are not an accident. Even though my husband enjoyed his pedicure, I...
