Loved this park when we first started coming down. My dog loves to run and this place is fenced and far enough from the road to give him lots of exercise and exploring ability.

Recently I have been concerned. People will have their dogs off leash next to the enclosure, and they will attack dogs coming up to go into the enclosure. It makes it hard for me and my dogs to get to the enclosure because they want to chase each other. They also run from their owners and in front of cars. There also is a bit of owner issues with letting there dogs play with certain dogs. If your dog is known to be aggressive towards small children, small dogs, big dogs..... then they should not be here. I have seen a few fights between dogs here that result in yelping and crying. There have been owners with dogs that seem starved and sickly. There are other things that are just disrespectful. I filled the dogs water dishes on a pretty hot day, this guy's dog came and knocked it over. The guy laugh and left. Leaving 7 other dogs licking at...

Azalea Park is a true gem! It’s the perfect spot for families, nature lovers, and dog owners alike. The dog and playground facilities are top-notch — clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully laid out. The trails offer a great variety, whether you’re looking for a short stroll or a longer, scenic walk.

It’s a very family-friendly place, with something for everyone to enjoy, and the location is super convenient, making it easy to drop by for a quick visit or spend a whole afternoon there.

One of the best surprises was the birdwatching — the diversity of species here is incredible, and it’s such a peaceful experience. Highly recommend Azalea Park for anyone looking to relax, explore, or just enjoy...

Great dogs and owners at this park! They have two separate areas, which I think is meant to keep smaller and larger dogs separate, however it isn’t always used for that. I like the two separate parks because one of my dogs can get overwhelmed when there are too many dogs, so we can take her to one side while my other dog plays with everyone. There are also some trails right by the park, as well as a community garden! My biggest complaint is the lack of maintenance done on the park. It’s basically all dirt, and when it rains there are massive mud puddles for days after. For that reason, I don’t come to Azalea very...

“I love Azalea park because there are swings and I love to swing. There are baby swings, big kid swings, and a family swing kind of like an airplane that two people can sit on. There is a baby part with some musical instruments. At the big kid part, there are ropes to cross, a pole to go down, and twisty slides. There is also a slide for two people to go down at the same time.” — Ella, 4yo

The playground, dog park and community gardens look nice. The walking trails were a little difficult to follow because the trail map is really faded. We couldn't complete the trail by the river because a large tree had fallen on the path. By the looks of it, quite some time ago also. Overall, a good place to walk around though.
