Kathy's Shopping Center — Attraction in Charlottesville

I come here pretty frequently to get food at Red Lantern, easily the best Chinese in Cville. At the very least, the best dumplings. Every time I visit, I remember how very bad the parking is. Very often, there are no spots. Lots of big trucks wander in and almost hit each car as they travel through. The lighting is inadequate. The shops are all very popular though, and it balances out. My advice would be to restripe the lot and take out a few spots, possibly adding an ingress/egress opening designating one way...

Everything here is worth trying. Red Lantern is a fantastic Chinese restaurant, Cactus is as authentic as a restaurant can be, And Bubbles is just a good place to wash clothes. So all in all its a nice little hidden spot for...
