Brought our daughters, 3&6, specifically our 6 year old for her birthday. The employees who were older at the entrance were super patient with us, the man who looked like maintenance not wearing UrbanAir clothing was staring at us though and it was rude. We had to stand in there while we purchased tickets online because we decided to buy the platinum membership with parent add-ons as a gift for our daughters for their birthdays and the two men at the front were super patient with us while we did this. At the entrance close where kids and parents wait and check in there was a blue pill on the floor that looked like a sprinkle from a cake. We tested it twice and discarded it, being that we work with and for sponsors and for NA groups, and it was fentany. This is so dangerous and employees need to seriously check for this esp in Chatt.Someone came with it and dropped it, or an employee did or something, but an infant could have picked that up and it would have been devastating. Attractions were fun for the kids. The benefits for platinum membership and pricing is great, too, aside from being short staffed so the attractions rotate being open/closed so if you're on limited time it can be hard to do what you want. We got a whole pizza since you get a discount with the membership. The two slices we got for free included were good and the kids liked it. We also got icees, sodas, popcorn. But the whole pizza was absolutely terrible and honestly gross. When we opened it we thought initially there was melted cheese on the box inside beside the pizza but it wasn't. It was what looked like dried up cold grease, it was white, and then had oil stains around it all over too. The pizza was literally drenched in this too, and it wasn't just grease from cheese and pepperoni. The taste was actually disgusting and our kids were and I was sick from the pizza that night. My wife didn't eat anything but popcorn, and was fine. They were both vomiting and my daughter was super sick that night of her birthday. It's a little upsetting because I saw people said the pizza was decent for what the place is but this wasn't even just half decent indoor park pizza, it was just lacking any care for customers whatsoever. We had to toss over half of it at the park which we planned to take it home but we couldn't, it was hardly edible. No one was really around the counter after to tell and we didn't want to ruin our kids little birthday day. She got a VIP sticker from the first gentleman who we met with which was super nice. The younger employees should probably just acknowledge that if they're going to work in an area full of kids then they should probably like kids, have patience, or at least learn to pretend to have a good attitude around kids. If you can't, then find a job that doesn't involve children. Girl with glasses and longer hair that ended up at the food counter and then sitting at a table was nice. Guy with glasses and longer hair name starts with a J I think, working at front desk was nice and older man with a ball cap who first met us was nice. Tried to get on rock climbing as that's what birthday girl wanted to do most, but the employee working the rock climbing let the couple who were adults stay on there for literally like a half hour, not paying much attention, with two kids waiting already ahead of us. It got late and we had to leave unfortunately. A child got hurt, with her mother there, in the area where the foam pit is and no employees cared to come check or ask anything for a while. Thought it was weird since this is your establishment and possibly could have used some help, first aid or just help with a call or hand. Overall it was okay, we can come all month now so hopefully experiences get better and we keep paying for the membership, it was between this and skyzone but the attractions our birthday kid saw here she wanted more. But wish we could have had a better experience with food that didn't make us sick from old, bad cold white grease and from a lack of employees that are caring...
Read moreI've been to Urban Air a few times now for birthday parties and for the most part, things have been great! However, this particular visit, I really was not pleased with the staff. Aug 3rd we had my nephews bday party there and one thing I noticed was when my niece and nephew got hooked up to climb the rock climbing wall, the staff hooked them up and the walked off to talk to other staff, laughing and cutting up with each other. Now, I'm all about having fun while you work, but you also have the safety of someone's child on your hands...I realize the kids are hooked up, but in my opinion, you should definitely stay in your area and keep an eye on those kids and equipment as a safety precaution and I can promise you 99% of parents would probably feel the same way. The other thing that really bothered me and a few others with our group was while we were in the party room, the kids ate their food and cake and then while my nephew was opening his gifts, one of the staff members popped their head in and asked if they could have some cake...well, I'm sorry, but I think that is rude as crap that you're going to come in during the child's party and ask that(if it was just the person who helped with the party, I might could see that, but it wasn't)...My brother in law even looked at me and said, "That is cringy AF!" the thing that topped it all off was, it wasn't JUST the girl that asked, FOUR MORE staff members filed in and lined up against the wall under the TV to get cake WHILE my nephew is trying to enjoy opening gifts. Everyone in our room was trying to figure out what the heck was going on and why all these staff were in there. My sister was highly irritated at this point. Here her son is trying to have his party and now instead of the attention on him, which it should be, everyone is looking at the staff, like, "WHY ARE YALL ALL IN HERE???" I guess they decided they came in at the wrong time and all of them filed back out. My sister asked my brother in law to bring the cake back by the door so they could come in and get it. And boy did they. My sister also ordered tons of food, 2 pizzas, box of wings (which are SO GOOD!!) box of chicken tenders, box of waffle fries and I think a couple other things. I was watching because I thought if they start taking her food, I will fly off the rails. My sister doesn't like conflict, but I don't care to say something and neither does my husband or brother in law. Thankfully they left the food alone because that's expensive and she can take that stuff home and her kids can have lunches or what have you with it. But I'm just here to tell you, if it was me and my kids party, I would have had more to say! It was ridiculous the way the staff came in and made such an awkward situation. Because believe me, everyone was talking about that. This is supposed to be a place where kids can go and have fun and possibly have birthday parties, yes it's a fun place, but it should still require a little bit of professionalism and safety precaution, esp from...
Read moreThis is for the owner to read.. I wish I could message you personally because I do not like to be paint negative ideas for others but let me start off by saying the IDEA of this place is amazing, and it offers lots of great activities for a really good price, the lights inside are beautiful, and the pizza tasted amazing, HOWEVER, the staff was so horrible that I don't know if I could ever come back. I get that it's hard to find people to work, so I am assuming these were all teenagers, but they definitely need an adult around to guide them. My advice to you would be to have team meetings with all staff where you teach them proper communication skills, how to handle certain issues, and the power of a smile. I tried to overlook the rudeness, but it was EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. The girl that took my money for a drink owed me 78 cent and said sorry I don't have change, then turned to the next customer to take her order. I waited patiently, then another girl came on for the 2 to swap out, and I asked again because she was leaving, and she waved at the other girl to not worry about me and go about her business. As for the attractions I paid for access to everything and because of a rotation I was not informed of when I bought the tickets (I wouldn't have bought them had I known) my kids weren't getting to do anything. After asking for a refund, the lady explained to me what was happening, so we would go wait. Even being first in line, it took them 30 minutes to get anything going. The girl at the zipline threw the harness on the ground and pointed at my son and pointed at the harness!! He had no idea how to do it. She slowly threw out harnesses and did this for about 10 kids, then would randomly walk off, as did the girl at the counter later when I ordered pizza (which my total was 20.73, and I handed her a 20, told her she owed me change, since her co-worker didn't fill her in) Go cart guy- same thing- pointed at the carts, never checked people's harnesses. This one poor girl raised her hand for 10 minutes then he sighed really deep and shook his head in disappointment when he finally asked her what she needed. The little girl looked scared to even say her question. These employees need taught the value of communication and being friendly! If they can't work there with a right attitude then they need to not work there at all! If I were owner I would say If you don't want to be here then don't, I'll get someone who appreciates the paycheck! They are going to run your business in the ground. How my kids and I are treated speak louder than anything else (price, attractions, quality of food). I was so disappointed; it was supposed to be a fun outing for my family. We made the best of it though, and had the staff been decent I still would've called it a fun time even though they only got to do 2 things we paid for. Your workforce is EVERYTHING, and I'd focus my energy on that. I hope...
