I came in about a week ago (I’d been in twice before-months ago). I had had a hard time finding the information I needed, either from the salesperson or the website and was very frustrated. I finally called the designer at Chattanooga and she gave me the info I needed. I suggest you improve your website. The criteria I had a hard time finding was a search for a petite recliner for women 5’3” and under. It would not find what I needed when I entered it into the search bar. I had to search then in each chair description which was often listed in different places. Also the fact that the chair names changed very often was confusing. When I did find a description for a petite chair, I couldn’t find out if that model could have the upgrades I desired:power headrest, power footrest and a swivel base. The model I did settle for was not what I really wanted because it was puffy and 1990-ish. I wanted a modern, slimline exterior instead. I would have bought a Nordic-style chair from Stressless but it was more than twice the cost. The chair is very comfortable, though , so I am happy about that. That describes my chair. Now for my husband’s chair, he really needed a large style and has a very long torso. He wanted a chair and a half so his dogs could sit next to him. None of the wider styles supported his neck and head properly. He finally settled on the Kodiak model which was the only one that fit him, but would have preferred the wider model. We were both very happy with the assortment of leather choices and were very glad to have comfortable chairs. Candace was the salesperson who helped us and did a fantastic job. If I needed to know something she found answers for me and was very professional, thorough and...
Read moreBeware of this store's sales practices! I do not recommend this La-Z-Boy location. After agreeing to pay the advertised price, we fully intended to purchase another recliner there. It was only then that the salesperson informed us there would be a $100 delivery fee included in the total price. We said we didn't need it delivered, we would just pick it up when it arrived. We were then informed we could not pick it up. It HAD to be delivered, as they did not have a "warehouse" at that location. At no time was the $100 mandatory additional delivery fee mentioned by the salesperson, nor was it disclosed on their "sale price" price tags until we had agreed to buy the recliner. I am a long time La-Z-Boy fan. Had the delivery fee been disclosed up front, or disclosed at any point prior to purchase, we would have certainly bought our 5th La-Z-Boy recliner there. Adding a mandatory delivery fee that is not disclosed as part of their advertised price is a deceptive sales practice that really needs to be investigated by the TN attorney general, the BBB, and the TN office of Consumer Affairs. We ordered the exact same recliner online for over $400 less, even with a $249 cost of shipping from an out of state store. What a shame! We REALLY wanted to do business locally, but their $100 surprise price bump was a deal killer. I have no idea who manages this location, but their sleazy sales practices gets them a 1 star, and it's one more star than they deserve. La-Z-Boy and their loyal customers deserve better. La-Z-Boy, you either need to replace the management at the Chattanooga store, or shut this location down! SO...
Read morePurchased a couch and two leather recliners and begin to have issues so after contacting the store on Gunbarrel rd the manager says nothing we can do and I am sorry. But if you will purchase another set and get the 10 year warranty it would cover the issues. He said give us another chance so I sold my set for nearly nothing and paid a premium price for almost identical set and the 10 year warranty I started having the same issues and thought no problem I have a warranty so I contacted lazyboy and they said the warranty is through a company called Servco I contacted them and sent pictures and they denied the claim said it was factory defect so I ask for a refund on the warranty since it didn’t cover anything. Do not ever purchase the warranty read the paper they word it so they don’t have to cover anything. They said the store will have to refund the money. I called the store everyone was very rude and basically said you are stuck with it we want give you a refund. When it does say they will refund the price of the warranty at anytime you are not satisfied but there again they have a loophole for that I was told to call the main office of Lazyboy in Dayton Tn they to was very rude and could care less. Bottom line do not buy Lazyboy products they are not quality as they were years ago which is sad and the warranty is money down the drain and just an additional profit for the store but turns out to be not worth the paper it...
