Use love coming to this place since it open spend good money here as a family but today was very off. I went yesterday day for my son birthday asked to get seated separately because my son help paying for my son to have fun on his birthday and my daughter and two sons decided to seat a separately table. When we came we told the guy who seated us we separated and we seated separately. We get in there and seat at separate table but get the tickets for graunity charge for 12.00 per table which equals to $24 that charge us like we together in group . It 3 at one table and 5 at the other table and she still charged us and we told them we not seating together can you charge us separately before we even sat down to get understanding. I couldn’t understand why the waitress was lacking on or drinks wasn’t smiling and was giving me all types of weird communication the whole time we in there and usually she nice sweet and I always tip but today it off . I didn’t know they planning the whole time to charge both our tables together with graunity charge $12.00 a piece . I had to ask for the one check because she just slumping around and I brought it to her attention she said oh I didn’t know sorry about that we take it off he told me y’all supposed be together. The dark skinned manager with glasses forgot her name and another waitress with curly hair come tag teaming me like they want to fight me . The manager and her said at same time you going pay her tip she is good for tips she deserve every tip and yall came in here together you getting charged together no matter if you ask for separate table because we watch you all come in here all the time. I explained to her again about the situation and they laughing at me acting out of character like manager not suppose to the curly hair lady kept laughing and beening unprofessional as to wasn’t helping with customer satisfaction. The manager told curly hair lady I’m about call “12” which is a officer on her and walked away after tag teaming me . I patiently waited and I told her I pay the bill but not the graunity never refused the bill. So she acted out character again and call a officer. The officer arrived and took her side because she said she couldn’t waive the graunity at all that I got to pay no matter what and he start making me feel less of person in front of everybody kept saying you cant pay this small fee he got better things to do instead of understanding the situation also im about take you for disorderly conduct for not paying its nothing you can do about it but call corporate and he grab me by the arm to pay then she told him to put me on trespassing and stood by everything like we never explained to them and like her waitress never apologize to correct the problem. Then when we leaving the restaurant getting in car the curly hair lady and some more people came outside laughing loud and talking while we leaving saying comments that we couldn’t hear but didnt pay it too much attention because it seem like they wanted attention . Read moreI finally went & tried the ol Juicy Crab. The flavor of the food that we were able to eat was fantastic. But the service and "management" was terrible. My daughter & I ordered cheese stix for appetizer & snow crab legs for main course.. Our cheese stix never came but my mouth started watering as soon as the bag of food that I have waited so long to try was placed before me I put my bib & gloves on and go to town. When I reached for my fork to break into my crab legs, all I found was a plastic fork, after watching my waitress walk past us at least 7 times I ask if she could bring us something to crack our crab legs with. She said that they didn't have real forks and were outta crackers 🤔 I asked her how we were supposed to eat our food and why we weren't informed of that before we selected our 2 items to eat for dinner. She offered to get manager, I obliged, and the manager said Sorry, we are out of crackers but I can show u how to eat the crab. And she suggested that I use my teeth and fingers 😳 Wait.. what? Are you serious? I told her , Id just eat mine when I got home since I was willing to try and break a hardware shell with my sensitive teeth. The alleged manager was running the register when we left, so I handed her my ticket with the total being $24ish. $16.50 for the crab legs that I was unable to eat bc of no fault of my own. I let her know that it was my first visit to the juicy crab & I didn't want to pay for the crab legs. She said "are you taking them home?" I said "planned on it, but if you're gonna charge me for the food i couldn't even eat, then I'd rather you jus take it. And that's exactly what she did without an apology whatsoever.. On the plus side I got some sausage, 1 potatoes & half of corn cob for $6. Ended up having to settle for fast food and a lesson learned. Will...
Read moreThank you so so SOOOO much to MATT!!! I have yet to meet a server with the attitude and care and professionalism of a manager. I have worked in restaurants where very highly acclaimed people have attended and worked! I’ve done many business ventures and ran many organizations and helped create some. With all the business experience I have in my years, I’ve never met someone so vibrate, there was such an incredible glow about this man. I wish I could’ve given him more, but unfortunately I couldn’t at the time. If I could take him as my own business partner, I would. But I wouldn’t ever want to take away the experience he gave me away from someone else. Many of young men and women were working there and I have no doubt that they are also very amazing. The manager should be given a raise for doing such a very good job of keeping his coworkers in line and professional, but with their own personality making the whole dining time very fun and fresh. I recommend to the manager that he watches Matt closely because I truly believe that he could be a good investment for this business location as a manager or even starting assistant manager. Good job to the team and I hope y’all have wonderful and a fully blessed weekend.
