Woodstock Trading Company — Attraction in Cherry Hill Township

Finally stopped in after passing by this eye-catching place for years. So very happy I did! The outside is whimsically inviting. Inside is a pungent welcome of incense that will instantly launch you back in time. I got to meet Gladys "Mom" Glass, the legendary Hippie herself. She blessed me with an affirmation reading and introduced me to one of the 2 cats that reside there, Maru. Loads of rock memorabilia, tie dye, art, crystals, hand blown glass made by Mom and her Mister, and SO MUCH MORE. I would give Woodstock five stars but the place could use some tidying-up. That being said, if you're looking for merchandise reflecting a much different time in history, primarily related to the glory days of the late 60s, this place is a must. Clothing, tapestries, posters, incense and soaps, hats, jewelry, ponchos... all with a hippie twist...simply fantastic! The proprietress has some stories to tell, no doubt about it, and this one of a kind shop is a welcome reminder of when music was redefining society and people were following...

I live in the Detroit area and ordered something online from Woodstock Trading earlier this week. Got a call today from Mom as near as I can tell from reading reviews today. She informed me that the item I had order was unfortunately sold out. While disappointed I can say I had the most pleasant conversation with Mom and I will surely order something in the future and if I ever make it out their way I would love to stop in and meet them. Seems like a great business with good people who own and work there....
