With my 3 orders that have been delivered the food is very good. The delivery driver is prompt and good also. The problem is this: I am disbled right now. Where I am staying in Cherry Hill there are no special amenities like napkins or housekeeping services. As a result, the main issue that I am disappointed with is this: With all three deliveries, the liquids and grease leaked out of a number of the boxes, bags; and, packaging. The packing of the food (in my opinion), is poorly done, especially for the foods with sauce and grease. I have three experieces since the new year with this distressing situation. Liquid dripping out of food. With a little more thought in packaging the food, I believe these issues could be addressed. Also, please spare a few napkins and paper plates. Like I stated, I am disabled at the moment; and, the place I am staying has very few amenities; although, they charge a lot of money to be here. The food from your restaurant is quite excellent. I hope you can find a way to address these other issues that I brought up. I am not sure I will order again; so, perhaps my comments will prevent others from experiecing this stressful situation (if you make corrections). Tonight was the worst of the 3 experiences, with sauce leaking out of the aluminum container on the floor. That should not happen! It will take me a long time to clean up this mess; because, of my disability, it is very difficult. It is what it is; and, I will not be ordering again. Despite these three experieces, I do wish you...
Read moreI'm done. We ordered tonight (to have an in home anniversary dinner, not fancy but hey, I didn't have to cook) I ordered a cobb salad. Lettuce, grilled chicken, cucumbers, blue cheese, bacon, tomato and hard boiled egg. I asked for the cheese & bacon on the side, and that was correct, so thanks.
Let me begin.
The chicken: so dry I could have built a wall with it. The cucumbers tasted and felt old The tomatoes:I swear they were left over from July. They were such a dull red color, I didn't want to eat them. They even tasted old with little to no flavor. Just the feel of tomato. The egg: over cooked The lettuce had brown spots, the blue cheese & bacon were the only salvageable part (roughly 1.5tbs of both if your wondering)
The avacado. After I picked the greens apart to find it...I found 3 small slivers. Now, I weighed it for a laugh.... ya ready? 6grams. That's not even a freaking 10th of an avacado. Luckily I had one laying around. So after I assembled my salad & poured the french dressing on (also...had no flavor) I sat down to eat. It was the most mediocre boarder line bad salad I have ever had. All I tasted was blue cheese.
I will not order from here again. I'm not sure if the place has a new owner, "chef" or what but the quality has gone down hill. As has the size of stuff. $9 for the salad I got....obnoxious. a salad works salad is...
Read moreFirst time having food from Romanza. Ordered Soup and salad. Soup was basically tap water with a hint of tomato flavor. Was supposed to be Pasta Fagioli. More like Luke warm broth with pasta and Zero Fagioli flavor and Zero beans. It felt as if they were out of Pasta Fagioli but put some water and a few ingredients into a container and said close enough. One sip of the broth and I pushed it aside. Grilled chicken Ceasar salad was marginal at best. Croutons were stale, Cheese was difficult to find. There was a generous amount of grilled chicken, however most of the chicken could have passed for Jerky. Maybe they are having a bad day or maybe I was expecting too much. I would be willing to give some other menu Items a chance, but I will not be ordering these items again. Please do not contact me with an apology, put your energy into a quality product for the...
