I do not live in NJ, but stopped at this location after a viewing at a funeral home in the state. I must say I was disappointed with the size of the portions, a bowl is really a half of a bowl. There were four of us and we each ordered a bowl. My husband asked for two meats in one bowl. A few days later after we returned home, I was checking the bill and they charged for five bowls. The only explanation I can think of is that just because he asked for another meat they charged for another whole bowl. We were not told that we would be charged for an additional bowl. What made us upset is that his bowl was still a half bowl even with two meats. I remember noticing how small the portion in the scoop was as the man was getting it from the dish. When my husband asked for another meat he looked at another lady for approval and she indicated that it was ok, so he added the extra meat. At this point she should have told us that it mean a charge of an additional bowl, but nobody told us that. The staff was not friendly at all. Spanish is my first language and trying to be friendly, I spoke Spanish to them, but honestly I felt like they did not want to speak to me. The Evesham location is much friendlier. I went here on several occasions where one staff member in particular is VERY rude. She rolls her eyes, gives smalls portions, and has a very nasty attitude. On one visit, I requested her name and a manager. She refused to give me her name and refused to escalate to a manager. In fact, she told me she was the manager.

On another occasion there were two police officers and she gave them 50% off due to them being first responders. So I inquired about the same discounts using my military ID. However, she gave me a different discount less than 10%. I’m not sure if it’s racial, social, or just an overall dissatisfaction with her profession but that should never be reflected in your customer service.

This location is closer to my home but I honestly feel so uncomfortable going to this location. I have never felt this way about an establishment and will also being reaching out to corporate.

The food is good but some staff members (not all of them) literally look at you like you are their enemies. We all have our personal problems but at least you crack a fake smile when costumers come in and order food. It's like you are forcing the food out of them. I'm writing this to the owners; please teach your emplooyees to be more friendly and smiling towards costumers so next time we wanna come there, we know we...
