This is one of my favorite galleries in the city. The gallery owner Kim is extremely kind and has a passion for working with wonderful artists. They do monthly gallery openings on Fridays, ranging from themed group shows to solo artist exhibits. Many artists shown here have gone on to become major successes, including Hebru Brantley, Kayla Mahaffey, and Max Sansing. The gallery is also known for discovering a diverse roster of emerging artists from underrepresented communities and producing their debut solo exhibitions, including the locally beloved bird-mask artist Sentrock, internationally shown Dovie Golden, and Queer artist TotesFerosh. I guess that was done on the opening presentation that I wasnt able to make. The works I took pictures of were my favorites. I was so mezmorized with the character with the boom box.
