I'm writing this review as a wheelchair user, and I want to start off by saying that the festival venue for Beyond Wonderland was absolutely amazing. The staff were very accommodating and I was able to have a good time. They set up a small platform for people who needed Ada benefits in the middle of the crowd, and they were definitely there to help you get through to it. I arrived a bit early, so I was able to get up there before the big crowd formed. The view was absolutely amazing for me, and I loved how it was in the middle of the crowd, and I felt included. I was just a bit taller than the GA section, so people were still able to interact with me and trade Kandies. Most venues just stick me up on a balcony for a good view, and that's not necessarily their fault if it's all they got, but the small platform was an EXCELLENT idea. The wheelchair accessible restrooms were pretty good for a festival. They were big enough for me and in a pretty convenient place. Whenever I went to use them, the staff made everyone able bodied stand back and let me go first, which was pretty amazing. The parking was pretty fair, only 55 dollars for one night. It was easy for me to find a handicap parking spot, I don't know how it was for the able bodied people who needed normal parking. The lot was nice and big enough, though. As for bags, you should be able to bring any size bag in as long as it's clear. This goes for everyone, cause I witnessed the staff denying someone with a small non see through bag, but letting someone in with a big clear bag. They probably will limit size if a non clear bag is the only thing you have, so make sure to bring a clear one! The only thing that was disappointing was that I couldn't get to the other stages because of the grass. It rained a LOT, so everything was super muddy. But, that isn't the venues fault. Most of the artists I wanted to see were at the main stage anyway, so staying on the platform was so problem at all. Overall, I will definitely be recommending this place to others and going to more festivals here!

I read through a lot of reviews talking about the bag policy. I went online and as of 8/6/22, it is correct. There is also a text hotline you can message with any questions, which I found very cool! I ended up taking a gallon ziploc bag in with me and they gave me no issues. They will also allow a plastic or aluminum refillable water bottle (no glass) and there are two water stations. You can also bring in factory-sealed water bottles. That was definitely needed as I went on a 100+ degree day. I didn’t partake in any of the refreshments because I wanted to save my money. The seats are indeed a little cramped, but once the concert starts, most people stood in the empty spaces just outside the seats and kind of spread out, so it ended up being not too much of a problem. I was disappointed with whomever was operating the projector. They didn’t turn it off the flashing advertisements until halfway through the second performer! Then you could tell they were having issues with it and it took me “out” of it. But the performers were awesome and it wasn’t too loud (normally my complaint in an indoor theatre). I didn’t have to put in my earplugs. They had mobile order available for merch which I think is a pretty cool feature — no standing in line with everyone after the show. And you get to see all the options and prices on your phone. The buses were still running at 11pm on the island which was great. They also had cocktail stands conveniently located but as I said, I did not partake. Overall, it was a pretty decent night. Definitely plan ahead about your bags and beverages. Use the text hotline for any questions.

If an artist you like is coming here and want to see them, I recommend you don’t. Wait until they tour elsewhere. 1. We bought VIP parking but it was still confusing, the worker who would lead us to the parking walked away when we got there. We ended up having to loop back. 2. The evacuation due to severe weather was disorganized. There was only one worker at the front of the line leaving everyone in the back clueless. They gave fliers for social media to give alerts but were not updating well. The paper they gave out is outdated, saying to go on twitter, changed a year ago to X. That is how old the evacuation plan is, if not older. They told us to follow the crowd to not get lost. We ended up the wrong way with workers continuing to lead us incorrectly. Workers came up from behind us, passing us to the shelter. There is no shelter put in place at the venue? If something randomly pops up then we are all screwed.Eventually they lead us to a hot garage where everyone was overheating and confused. I saw so many people with braces and casts on their feet and with disabilities. Forcing them to walk miles away. 3. The police were more help in directing when they have no opinion in the plan as far as I am aware. Who knows if they were told that thousands of people had to walk miles away to shelter. I feel bad for the workers as it is clearly the people who are in charge who are at fault for this disaster of an event. It is not because of the size of the venue, I have been to smaller and larger venues who have done way better in management, it is possible. They just don’t care here. 4. Once everyone got out of the garage, the line to get in wrapped around to soilder feild. We were told that doors would open at 6:30 but they didn't open until 15 minutes later. But it did’t start moving until even later. Not to mention the lines were confusing. Workers were trying to get all the people who payed extra to get in early into the venue. Good luck when the line is miles long full of thousands of people who can’t hear over all the chaos. We were all left hungry, thirsty, over-exhausted, dying of heat, confused, and needing to use the bathroom. I saw someone vomit while in line. Talking with others online who got into the venue said people were actually passing out and couldn’t get water from the fountains due to the lines. Instead having to pay $7 in order to not pass out. I felt like my throat was killing me and I didn’t do anything yet. I think I would have thrown up or passed out if I we didn’t bring water. 5. We chose to leave as it was not even worth it to stay. We stayed in line until the opening act finished. A hour after they said doors would open. Still asking for those who paid extra to follow them in. When the line was still miles long with tons of people. Only a little away from solider field’s garage. The line had hardly moved after A HOUR of when they said gates would open, with one act done. The island closes at 11 PM, I learned from others that the sprinklers set off after that time. People missed majority of the concert. I wanted to see and hear them live. If I only wanted to hear them quietly like we did waiting in line, then I would have kept listening on my phone like I had been. 6. As an outdoor venue who gets a ton of artists to come and preform there, you should have a plan on what to do in emergencies and how to help the people who getting sick, injured, disabled, lost, etc. The fact you had none of that speaks volumes about this venue and the lack of care. Other venues have shown examples of how bad weather can get and how dangerous it is when there is no plan. 7. I’ve been this venue to see others and was excited to see the MotherMother x Cavetown tour here too. With the others it had unorganized lines. It is a shame that a pretty venue like Hunting Bank Pavilion is under the poor management that it currently has. 8. With the lack and disregard for safety of the safety that was present tonight. The mismanagement and confusion. Never go to Hunting Bank Pavilion.

Food: The main purpose of my review is to share photos of some the menus and food options that are available. I hadn’t been to this venue since before they changed the food vendors and I was shocked that I couldn’t find info on options or prices. Most of the food is fried and high fat, as expected, so you might want to bring your own healthy snacks if that’s what you’re craving. Some options include: Dog Haus, Trejo’s Tacos, Jon & Vinny’s Pizza, Art Bird chicken, as well as a BBQ vendor and typical food like french fries, popcorn, corn dogs, etc. There was also a vendor selling soft serve ice cream in a pouch. Location: Unless you want to deal with heavy traffic and high parking rates, don’t bother driving, especially on days when there’s also an event at Soldier Field. Most people take the bus from the Roosevelt CTA station or just walk. It’s a nice walk, especially with the crowd at night, but can be exhausting after standing all evening so wear comfortable shoes. Venue: Up until the Salt Shed opened in 2023, this was the only outdoor venue option. It’s one of my least liked venues in Chicago due to how annoying it is to get to, their messy GA entry process, and the seating. If an artist you love is playing a GA show here, it will most likely be disorganized unless there’s a high turnout. Sometimes they’re better about it and start checking tickets before doors so you get your GA wristband before entering. Make sure to read the bag policy carefully or you will have to rent a locker or go back to your car. There isn’t really a good seat in this venue because it’s basically a parking lot. It’s set up so if you’re in a seated section, people will walk in front of your view ALL night (side note: PLEASE sit down and get your drinks before the show). If you’re in the GA pit, drink vendors wander through the crowd interrupting the view. Most of the seats are folding chairs held together with zip ties. The ground is totally flat so you can’t see a thing or move if the tall people in front of you decide to stand during the show.

Hey there, fellow music lovers! 🎶 I recently had an incredible experience at the Huntington Bank Pavilion on Northerly Island in Chicago and just had to share it with you all! This massive venue was the perfect spot for The People's Tour featuring Quinn XCII, with special guests ARIZONA and Julia Wolf. 🎤 First and foremost, let's talk about the acoustics. The sound quality was absolutely superb, with crystal clear audio that carried across the entire venue, allowing everyone to fully appreciate the music. 🎵 The food and drink options were equally impressive. 🍔🍻 With a wide variety of choices, from pizza and burgers to gourmet tacos and craft beers, there was something for everyone. Plus, the lines moved quickly, so you could grab a bite and get back to enjoying the show in no time. 💨 The venue also had plenty of clean and well-maintained restrooms, which can sometimes be a rarity at large concert venues. 🚽 As for entering and exiting the venue, it was a smooth and efficient process with minimal waiting time. 🚶♂️ Now, let's talk about the performances. Julia Wolf started the night off with a strong set that got the crowd excited. Quinn XCII delivered a fantastic performance, filled with catchy tunes and great stage presence. But it was ARIZONA that truly stole the show! Their energy and enthusiasm were absolutely contagious, and the crowd couldn't get enough. 🌟 In conclusion, if you're on the lookout for an amazing venue with top-notch acts, look no further than the Huntington Bank Pavilion on Northerly Island in Chicago. I would highly recommend it and can't wait to go back for more! 🏆👏

I’ve been to over 30 concerts with a variety of venues. This one is not my favorite and I’ll say why. The parking is soldier field garage and shedd parking if you’re lucky. A bit of a hike to the venue overall. They are very disorganized. I went to see 5SOS in 103° weather in the pit last august. We had fast lane passes but no fast lane pass line was created until an hour after we waited in the regular long line in the heat. We had to ask security if a line was being made and your arrival time didn’t positively affect your spot in line because of this. For someone doing put that’s just annoying cause you get fast pass to get a closer spot. I recently went to see Falling In Reverse. Chose seated tickets this time around and the chairs were so cheap for the section we chose and the price we paid. The seats are also super close together so my boyfriend who has broad shoulders was very uncomfortable as we sat waiting for the show to start. Only postive is the views, sound system and bathrooms. The lines for food, merch and drinks were also very short and well managed. Security doesn’t care about what anyone does. Some lady in the same section as us was basically against the fence with pit and no one told her anything lol. Lots of people blocking aisles and seat jumping
