Responsive - The crew at ASM was very flexible. Their website is well laid out with a chat service that answers most of your questions. Chelsea, the administrative assistant and scheduler answers emails in 24 hour or less and is very helpful with answering questions and providing examples to help customize the perfect charter for your group.

Personable - The entire crew is very personable especially, the bartender. No one ever had an empty glass because Armando (the bartender) made sure of it. We had 32 people in our charter and he was VERY attentive to all of us. We had 2 Vegans and 3 vegetarians in our group and the crew at ASM was great to make sure we had tasty food options for all 5 of them.

Flexible - The crew at ASM was very flexible throughout the process of securing the charter and the day of. There was a thunderstorm in chicago 30 minutes prior to our charter’s start time. They made a plan to have us come and hang on the boat and we made a game plan from there to maximize the charter. We pushed off and had an amazing charter and the captain and crew made sure we were safe throughout. We really appreciated their perseverance and flexibility throughout the day.

Overall, We had a great time and would gladly do another charter with ASM. We highly recommend them!

Pro Tip: The Captain smokes, so if you have a sensitivity to smoking, just make sure you let Chelsea know that your group is sensitive to smoking.

Pro Tip: Call the crew 5 minutes before you show, because they have to come out to a gate to get you. We were in the middle of a rain storm and had to wait 5 minutes at the gate before getting on the boat. Therefore, our group was soaked on our way on. It set a bad tone for the charter. But, once everyone was warm, everyone had a great time.

We had the most amazing time aboard Adeline’s Sea Moose leaving from Burnham Harbor. This boat is absolutely beautiful—spacious, comfortable, and perfect for a memorable evening on the water.

The crew? Top-notch. Friendly, professional, and they made sure everything ran smoothly so we could just relax and enjoy the ride.

The highlight was cruising up the Chicago River at night in September—seriously, it doesn’t get any better. Watching the sun go down behind the skyline and then seeing the city light up as we glided along the river was pure magic. The combination of the crisp fall air, the glow of the buildings, and the vibe on the boat made it unforgettable.

I photographed a proposal with Captain Brian and Captain John on the beautiful Adeline’s Sea Moose — WOW they really know how to take care of logistics! I really appreciated the thoughtfulness in taking care of their guests in making the surprise wonderful. They had all of the logistics down to a T: the family arrived early while we waited for the couple to arrive, gave us all a heads up when the couple arrived so that we wouldn’t be seen, and even help coordinated the whole surprise perfectly for the couple to enjoy their moment with the best view of the skyline behind them (while I snapped photos from the rooftop of the boat!)
