I love this concept and the location is in a great place. However, this was one of those "expectation vs reality" situations for us....
Expectation: The photos depict a happy, cheery, over-the-top, clean cut, fun loving, personable kinda guy.
Reality: There were two hosts for the experience, we will address the co-host first. She was energetic and cheesy, just as expected. She was really quite enjoyable in this capacity.
The main host was not the person in the picture and kinda came off as someone who was up late drinking the night prior and because of that rolled out of bed at 4pm, didn't bother to wash his hair or shave, and got to work moments before the show began.
Expectation: We were given a link for our friends and family to view The Game Show Game Show live, or even later on, as part of the experience. I didn't expect 4k, but did expect a quality level par with what your average 12 year old puts on the internet every day.
Reality: When we watched the video a few days after the event we found the quality of the recording, both sound and video, was so bad that it was unbearable to view the entire experience. Also, we were only a group of 5 and no others booked on our night. Three of us were cut out the view the camera and you could only see two of the "contestants".
Just as I opened with saying, I love this concept and hope to see it take off and spread around the country.
Overall, this experience felt just a notch...
Read moreEthan and Ashley were AWESOME!!!! My coworkers and I had the pleasure of spending an afternoon in there tender mercies and we had the best time. They work so well together and they really know how to move the crowd. There were 18 of us and Ethan and Ashley were able to hold our attention and keep us in our toes. I’d definitely recommend The Game Show Game Show for any event. You will not leave disappointed. While I’ll admit I didn’t know what we had in store but I’m so very happy to have had the opportunity and can’t wait...
Read more#GameShowGameShowChicago was OK.. I expected a bit more. It is a very popular activity in Chicago and it is located on Michigan Avenue. They should really step their game up. They need buttons or at least a bell not paddles. The props were very cheap. Our host was a bit moody too. I was there to have fun not to get yelled at. Also, we were told our session would be live streamed. It's been three days and our session has yet to be posted. It was a fun activity but very cheap. I can recreate in...
