We’ve lived in Chino Hills for 27 years and today we’ve finally checked out this trail. It was posted as a 3.2 miles loop, but in reality I believe it was around 2.8 to 2.9 miles long. Overall it was quite easy with a couple of steep hills that people of average health shouldn’t have any problem. The trail wonders through horse ranches that have been in this areas for years, long before Chino Hills became a city. The views were wonderful and at about the mid-point is what I believed to be the highest point (without smoking any weed) of Chino Hills. We saw plenty of dogs on the trail, including volunteers taking sheltered dogs from nearby Priceless Pets for a walk. Maybe I shouldn’t have waited this long to walk this trail.

Beautiful walk with plenty of horses and cattle to see. Great for hiking! Part of the trail turns into a paved road which is English rd, and is popular with joggers. The plus side of the paved road is that people with limited mobility (wheelchair, knee scooters, bad knees etc) can still enjoy a sight seeing the horses while on a stroll l.

Love this trail. We come here every weekend to hike. First 1.25 mile is good uphill hike. It'll definitely challenge you in a good way. The rest 1.75 mile leads you to a road where estate/ranch houses are. We run on that pathway at the same time we get a peak of the horses and cows. My teenage boys really enjoy it here. We're from Yorba Linda and we make extra effort to come here even though we have trails...
