I'd rate negative if I could. I had 4 prepaid packages. I was in-line and was pulled out of line and was told to leave them on the counter. This was 3/18, Monday. The tracking never updated to show drop-off. On 3/20 I went back to ask. I was told to wait and come back on 3/22. On 3/22 super-rude guy tells me I need to wait and that I need to request that they scan my packages. I told him "I can't go back in time" I need a solution for these MIA packages. Other than telling me to wait, he just kept telling me to have them scanned going forward. Yeah, sure - but I am not talking about future shipments. I need THIS issue resolved. Needless to say, no luck. So every other day I'd show up to ship other items and ask about the missing packages. Same rude guy, same rude answers. So I got online and filed a complaint against this location. 2 days later I got an email telling me all 4 boxes are being returned due to lack of needed postage. This is impossible - I weighed, measured, and they are absolutely correct. So I had to refund my buyers $100's of dollars. 2 days later all 4 tracking numbers updated... and THEY ARE BEING DELIVERED TO THEIR DESTINATIONS- NOT BEING RETURNED. So, this location sat on my packages for 10 days for some reason, gave me the runaround, then told me they are being returned only to suddenly send them off to their destinations. WHAT A DAMN JOKE. So ive refunded $600+ of items that now all these people are going to get for free. Avoid this place if at all possible. If not possible, WATCH THEM SCAN IT AND MAKE SURE YOU...
Read moreA while back, I had to trace a package sent from Amazon (which I never have problems with) and the item happened to be delivered the next day. Two days after that, the post office called saying the package was still on the east coast, the shipper generated a label but never gave the package to them so they weren't at fault. When I told the person they delivered it two days prior, they had nothing to say. Same thing is happening again and I've tried for two hours to get through to the Chino Hills Post Office to give them additional info they were requesting and the line has been constantly busy. I think they leave it off the hook. Between work and home, I ship and receive A LOT of packages and NEVER have a problem with UPS, Fed-ex or OnTrac, but USPS is constantly late or losing things. And with SmartPost, UPS or Fed-ex can get packages across the whole country in a day or two and deliver it to the local post office, who then takes five days to get it to my door. USPS is spending a fortune on their public relations campaign designed to make us believe they've changed and they are now competent. What a joke! It takes more than a TV ad to do that. For decades, postal employees have become so unionized in their thinking, focusing on the minimum of work they need to do for the maximum compensation. They have no idea what "customer service" really is. To turn the USPS around, they would have to fire every employee from the archaic thinkers at the top on down and start fresh. If there's any doubt, watch a UPS driver deliver packages and then watch...
Read moreI’m sure like most working class Americans, going to the post office is a dreaded event and typically the employees seem unhappy and unwilling to assist without huffing and puffing with irritation. But today was an entirely different experience. I walked in with an awkwardly large framed band poster to mail cross country and Steven assisted me with EVERYTHING. From helping me measure the item and telling me where to go to get a box with such dimensions to weighing it out and giving me an idea of what to expect price wise. Anyway the box was bigger than the picture and the extra 4 inches calculated to an extra $75 DOLLARS EXTRA! But have no fear, Steven sensed my panic at seeing the large price jump and went straight up McGyver and CUT MY BOX TWO DIFFERENT TIMES so that it was closer to the actual dimensions of the frame. His efforts enabled my price to stay at the $50 range instead of $120. Needless to say he went above and beyond to ensure I walked out packageless, with a smile on my face and a few coins left in my pocket. I am beyond grateful for the excellent customer service, in fact I’m blown away. Thanks Steven! I wish every USPS employee, better yet I wish every customer service facing employee had the dedication Steven does!!! Thank you thank you thank you give that...
