Ruben S. Ayala Park — Attraction in Chino

I walk here on a daily basis at lunch time , from time to time the city workers drive their trucks along the walkways of the pedestrians . The workers don’t bother moving to the side or grass, the grass is full of tire marks so as a courtesy they should move instead of having the pedestrians inhaling the trucks fumes as they pass by. Today I witnessed a city truck on and by itself right smack middle of the walk way so again people had to go around and inhale the fumes, on top of everything else they were testing the sprinklers so of course people had to go around the sprinklers so they don’t get wet and as I was passing by the sprinklers turned off and as I was walking the 2 workers were there looking at me instead of warning me the sprinkler was coming on and wet my pants. The workers didn’t bother apologizing or anything, I took pictures of the truck while it’s on and nobody in the truck and where it’s parked. I personally don’t think this park is as clean as it should be and mainly I think there are a lot of problems with their water even in the bathrooms . I have seen city workers in their trucks lounging and on their cell phones ! The city big wigs should come out to see what goes on . The workers have no respect for the people that take their kids and dogs to walk at the park ! Sad to say the only reason I come to this park is because it’s the closest otherwise I would...

The park is great, lots of space. Big fields for baseball, soccer, football, field hockey, or whatever else. Bathrooms are kept clean, plenty of parking. The only thing is the parking lot lighting here is really bad and for how big the parking lot is, there's not enough adequate lighting and/or brightness associated with the lights. Very dim lit they cannot cover everything.

My friend told me peoples cars were getting broken into around here because she came up here one day during the day and saw shattered glass on the ground. She gathered it must have happened overnight

I can now see that now with how dim the lights are. I had left my car here to go with my friend to grab something to eat nearby, and came back to pick it up and the lot was almost pitched black. This was at 8:30pm. The park was all but empty. Not good at all.

I mean whenever you're in a dark parking lot you're just having your head on a swivel and it ain't about being paranoid either. They really need to look into fixing the lighting around here. This is not good for park goers and it isn't safe, especially for a lady by herself jogging or whatever else. It was dark around the entire park too.

Today there was a homeless or at least he looked homeless in the restroom doing inappropriate sexual intercourse and I report it to the city of chino park to ask to close the restroom so they can clean it and they said they will report it to chinopd and chinopd never came what a disappointment specially because this white male individual has been coming to the park and children are all running around some supervised and some children playing by themselves and having perverse running around the park with children this park should be supervised once in a while we need to be careful with our children so anything suspicion everyone should be reporting it for the safety of the community as well as yesterday evening there was a male trying to steal a families bike chino is becoming unsafe for...
