8/20/2023 Updated review.... Last two times I called in and ordered a full tenderloin cut 2in thick not butterflied. The first time I got the tenderloin not cut at all, just a full tenderloin. This last time I got the steaks and they were cut in less than 3/4 of an inch. Clearly says on both order tickets 2IN THICK STEAKS NOT BUTTERFLIED. That really disappointed me! But of course I went back to try it again! So here's the tip....go in and get your meat cut in front of you instead of calling...

We love this place! Brings back childhood memories of going to the butcher shop with my parents in a Hungarian neighborhood. My hubby worked with his father as a butcher and knows quality meats. We love their kolbas with coriander!!! Soooooo incredibly good!!! We also like to get their steak, pimento loaf, and head cheese. And hot dogs. And sliced cheese. And curds. They sell some veggies, candy, spices, and other items. We love the creaky wooden floors which reminds us of our small hometown shops. And the service is friendly and the staff are just awesome, genuine people. It's a real pleasure...

This is hands down my favorite butcher shop in the area. The prices are extremely fair and the meat is always high quality fresh. They have all the essentials.The employees are always chipper, polite and they remember many of their customers. My daughter loves coming to the store with me because they have a fun selection of some old "classic" candies for her to choose from. This is your classic "ma and pa" butcher shop. I'll gladly give them my money over the chains any day. ...
