Riverfront Park — Attraction in Chippewa Falls

If a child rides his bike to this park, and doesn't arrive home, he may have disappeared behind this retaining wall, having innocently stopped to see a fish, or toss a coin in the water. Just to stand on the grass behind this retaining wall could be dangerous. An adult carrying a child, could lose two lives at once. While it provides beauty to some, it's a real eyesore for others. There were business places that had a view of the river for many years, that have had their view obstructed, and destroyed forever by the buildings (toilets no less) built between them and the river. A nice place to gather for a cook out(bring grill), chill with a friend, fish, take a walk, or have a wedding. Insect repellent is a must being close to the river. If the city built a nice playground, installed grills near the pavilions and around the park, placed a few more adult swings, with canopies around the grounds, off the trail . Very nice park! I like going here wverytime I go to chippewa because it's so nice to walk around and havs a view of the beautiful water. Plus there's some good fishing spots that I want to try out next spring and summer. I love under the bridge as well, it's just so beautiful and peaceful.
