Depot Park — Attraction in Christiansburg

This is a really nice park. It has a paved asphalt path around it that is really nice, leads to a short, private path, over a bridge, over the stream and to the separate but adjoining skate park. The asphalt is smooth enough to skate around without being completely worn out (though there is a rough patch behind the playground). I love that the park follows along the stream. I was able to take my old dog there so she could watch me skate around the giant loop without her struggling to follow along. Good little park. There is a playground that my 2 year old loves to play on. There are basketball courts and a picnic area as well. There is one soccer field. A trail loops all the way around which I believe is 1/5 of a mile. They just recently finished a path that connects to the skate park/ aquatics center.
