I'm a first time boarder and can say that the layout isn't overbearing if you're just learning. Plenty of open space to just cruise around and get comfy, although I feel that once you get to a certain point- this park will seem kinda empty. Moveable obstacle choice could be better, but then crusing space would be lost. Give and take. Wish the bathroom was open again. lol Overall love going to this park to practice. The skaters I've asked to give me run-downs (young and old) have been very helpful so far. Wouldn't expect kids around my age actually wanna help. Guess it's the environment. ¯\_ (ツ) _/¯

I really like this skate park. It is getting some wear and tear but the concrete is pretty smooth. There is a lot of room to get up some speed. As a quad skater, I appreciate the adjoining asphalt that leads to the separate park with paved loop. If there are a lot of people or more than I care to share with, I can skate on the asphalt. It has been pretty empty in the evenings on the weekdays though this year.

Fun mix of smooth solid metal ramps and concrete. Fairly standard prefab setup, so bring your creativity, (maybe even your paint, cause this place is kinda drab). Has lights as well but not sure how late. Sign says 8 to dusk. Free and no park nannys. Nice little creek runs by it. Beside Kroger and church like looking place.

It's great they spent millions on the aquatic center but this rusty prefab park with a permanently locked bathroom, sagging concrete and super slick repaints every year is a sad site considering how many skate park builders exist these days. Some guys in a truck destroyed the bathroom after hours during the lockdowns so they've decided no one can use it any more. Cops on a power trip will threaten you if you're there for even a few minutes after hours. God forbid you try and go during peak hours for the pool, people will pack in the skate park parking lot and even block the road, spent three hours with my truck blocked in last summer. If you're over 16 years old angry red hat dad's may threaten you for being "at a kids park" too. It's sad that this is their effort but sums up how this town treats...
