Giraffe Ridge — Attraction in Cincinnati

The day we were taking our grandfather to the zoo, I was so excited to have her feed the giraffes. Because of the posted times on the website, I thought we had missed it because we didn't get there until 10, but they had a feeding going on just as we got to the giraffes. The staff was pleasant and tried to keep the animals close for the children to feed. It seemed it was a struggle for them after a bit. She was so nervous. It was fun to watch. We enjoyed it. Excellent part of the Cincinnati zoo. Five giraffes, two toddlers. Can feed them lettuce for a price ($3 a piece... pricey but the kids like it and the profit goes to the zoo obviously). Great viewing platform overlooking their out door area. Also have windows into their quarters to watch...
