The old library that used to be in the building that's now Gaslight Bar and Grill had a memorably nice librarian employed for a long time, I really appreciated him. That's not what got me opening google maps to talk about events from over a decade ago, though. Somebody else needs a special zero star mention; someone employed as a part timer who I only saw once, made a memorable and nasty brag to me, when I was about 12 years old and checking out a book I presumed could tell me something about physics (a subject I was interested in), this C-(ahem, I mean this girl) said "MY physics books were university textbooks though" and then, put to shame by this university level B-(ahem, girl), reassuring me that she is smarter than a 12 year old, I went home with the cool graphic physics book I checked out and proceeded to read none of it. I hope she feels some amount of shame, and I'm thrilled that I only ever saw her working there once. Thanks management! My only complaint would be around one particular librarian who questioned me and my wife for walking around upstairs and looking around. My wife was told by another librarian that the upstairs had a bathroom and some meeting rooms and that we were more than welcome to look around (it was our first time there).

My wife and I are in our early 30ās but we look very young and people ALWAYS assume we are teenagers⦠so maybe thatās why she felt the need to say something. Irregardless it was the most odd treatment I have ever received in a library.
But like I said it was a good visit. Probably...

Kudos to all staffs there. You can use the computer there for free for 15 mins to get your stuff printed. I would like to thank the front desk staff today who helped me to get printouts and explained me about the $5 worth of printing. Sorry Ma'am I forgot to get your name. You are so helpful and...
