I LOVE the Theater! I've been an avid supporter of the Capital Repertory Theater since it's inception. I've attended at least one production each season. A few years ago, I was gifted with season tickets which brought joy to my heart. One of the perks that I cherished was the option of changing to an alternative date in case of an emergency. On Sunday, 11/26/17 I attempted to use that option for the second time since I've been a subscriber and was told I would have to pay a additional fee. I refused the option to change, not because I don't have $5.00 +, but because I feel it is unfair to charge a fee for a seat on a different day when the seat is empty and was offered previously without a fee. I called back today, 11/27/17 for further information of the change. The explanation sounds like price gouging to me, just another tactic designed to get extra cash, which to me is very unfair to supporters. Of course, there are other theaters I could choose, but, I LOVE CapRep. However, I am saddened and disappointed about the extra charge. In my mind, this is a great way to loose supporters/subscribers. PS: I no longer use Holmes in my name, but, there wasn't an option to change it. I am Nell Stokes.
