Had our kids birthday party here the attendants were no where to be found, took forever for them to get a cake server and forks/plates and several trips to get these items because they kept forgetting things, which caused a delay in getting on the rides. Then it began to rain so majority of the rides were shut down. They put our pizza on the wrong table and the other Party’s guests were eating our food and never got all the soda we paid for. Called and spoke the management they were wonderful gave us a book of tickets and a free pizza/drinks for another visit. Went back yesterday and there were 2 young ladies who were ride attendants one with brown hair and big glasses and a tall blonde. They were attending the majority of rides our kids went on and they were extremely rude and unpleasant. Continued yelling at the kids for being kids, not explaining rules before the ride began only to scream at the kids for touching the water (a two year old), I even said something about explaining rules before the rides. They were not being attentive enough to the smaller children when getting on and off the rides-my husband had to run into the gate at least 3 times to help our youngest son as he almost got hurt each time, couldn’t even crack a smile-they were miserable. After rides we got food and sat under the pavilion, they ended up coming over and sitting with their backs to us on a table right near us. Food was taking a while and the kids were playing in the dirt, my friend also came with her kids and we were instructing them not to play in the dirt. The blonde decided to intervene the next time and yelled at my friends son saying “Don’t kick the dirt, the dust is coming all up” it was mostly her tone and pure disgust that actually left me speechless. My husband was not there when that happened and I didn’t say anything because I knew it would not have been nice, so when the girls got up to walk away my husband said “have a great day, thank you!” neither reasoned and the blonde rolled her eyes. If you do not like working with children or in the heat GET ANOTHER JOB! Do not discipline kids when their parents are doing it already and learn how to communicate before the rides and in a more pleasant, respectful tone. Kids are people too, they are learning and growing. They can be frustrating, as parents we get that and we’re all doing our best, we don’t need two teenagers to intervene. Again- find other employment where you do not have to interact with kids, this isn’t the job for you. Management-I encourage you to look into and really evaluate your employees better. Very disappointed in our trips and will not go back. Only gave 2 stars because management tried to rectify the issues we had...
Read moreI had the chance to chaperone my daughter for a school field trip here. Of course, I had to jump on the chance to feel the nostalgia of the rides from when I was a kid at the previous location. The rides are as fun as they always were, and everything appeared safe. Not every ride has an attendant, which is ok, but sometimes the kids would be waiting in line for a ride with no attendant, so we weren't sure how long we'd have to wait to get on. We never waited too long, so it's not something that would keep us from coming back. Concessions are basic fair/amusement park food and prices. You have to walk around to the train station to get to the bathrooms, but they are relatively clean and stocked. The entire park isn't that big, so walking back and forth to things isn't much of a pain. The large ferris wheel has a decent view of Albany and I878, which luckily you can't hear in the park with all the rides going. My daughter did sustain a decent sized cut and bruise on her leg after going on the roller coaster. It turned red and immediately swelled. It does look like a rough ride that jerks around (as most coasters do) But she of course cried in pain for about 10 minutes until bribed with an icee to help feel better.
Ticket prices seem fairly high when I looked online. However, we paid a good price for wristbands as we went on a school trip. I don't know that I'd come here on our own and pay full price for...
Read moreTerrible experience today. Almost no staffing. No fried dough, as the trailer was completely shut down. My daughter and I both got stung by the many bee's 🐝 buzzing around. Tickets 🎟 way overpriced and employees have no clue what they are doing. My 5 year old niece went on a ride with my 9 year old daughter. Employee just sat there until I mentioned my 5 and 9 year old needed help getting on and off the ride. Another employee sat my much smaller niece on the outside of the ride so my daughter who is much bigger pinned her up against the metal ride as it was going. She was crying as her arm was hurt and left with a big bruise, he never once stopped the ride to let her off, as she was hurt. The employee running the ferris wheel had it going around 20 times. Kids were crying to get off, and one even got off sick to her stomach, because he just kept the ride going.. for whatever reason. Many parents were even making remarks about it. Another employee wouldn't let a girl on a ride due to her height so I offered for her to ride with my daughter who was riding alone. He took a kid off a ride that had 3 kids and put her with that kid. So my daughter still rode alone. Over all very disappointed and feel that they are understaffed and under trained. If you don't have staff. Shut down. Also train your employees to help get on and off rides and the proper seating distributing weight so...
