The park itself is lovely. Clean, lots of picnic tables, some with little pavilions. BBQ grills. A playground, skate park, and a couple large pavilions to rent. There is a gazebo closer to the river. It's a nice place to eat and take a walk. There is a small sand beach. My only complaints are that the summer swimming is never open long enough, and the swim half of the pond is divided into a little kid section and a regular section (with a shallow and deep divided section). No laying in puddles on the beach (even while wearing a life jacket). No touching in the water. No splashing. Then every 1 hour everyone needs to get out of the water and listen to the lifeguards go over the rules on the megaphone. Nice water fountain in the middle of the lake. It was hard for me since single parent of 4. Some wanted to go to deep end and some wanted to stay on the beach. The lifeguards would constantly tell me to stay with...
