Best access to trail that leads down to falls is a small parking area on Falls Branch drive that allows one access to one of Cornell’s University’s suspension bridges. This bridge is pretty cool, 140’ above water in gorge and 270’ end to end. Turn right at end of bridge and walk along paved path until you encounter kiosk. Turn Rt at kiosk and follow switchback slate walkway that leads to viewing platform at bottom of gorge. This falls is also referred to as Foaming falls in several online articles. With good water flow this falls is a vertical drop that soon hits several chasms that redistribute the flow in numerous directions. At the viewing platform, the top of the falls to Forest falls can be seen to your left. Many who post feel that Rocky Falls, which is the one which starts above the hydroelectric generation building is all one in the same and they are separate.
