I would give a negative star if I could. I returned the book a year ago in Jan 2020 and they couldn't relocate it. In March 2020, I contacted the billing office of the library and Michelle, the woman in charge of billing, said she would search for the book and let me know if the book could not be found. And she never followed up with me so I assume the book was found. Now I saw this hold on my student account, and they are holding my degree HOSTAGE for their own mistake. I reached out to her again and Michelle had the audacity to deny the claim that she initiated a search before. All the facts are documented in the email correspondences. Michelle either was never planning to look for the book in the first place or she has been lying all the time. Her dishonesty, her unprofessionalism, and her neglect of her responsibility are just so repulsive that my Cornell experience was really contaminated...
