My experience in this store today was very horrible when I made the appointment I spoke to Emily she advised me that I should bring all my dog's papers which I did on the day of the visit. On the day of the visit I bring all my dog's papers including rabies immunization records even extra papers the entire time she was shaking her head letting me know that I didn't have the the proper papers for my dog to get groomed. Immediately I got confused because I didn't understand what other paper she was asking I was getting a little irritated, she noticed and started to call me out because I was giving her an attitude I told her the level of frustration because I didn't understand what other things she needed the date of the rabies was there the doctor's name literally everything was on the paper and because she didn't felt that they were proper papers she told me that my pet wasn't getting groomed I was so irritated that I started yelling and that's when she told me to get out the store three times threw me at the store I was so upset that I left the store in parking lot there I met with a couple of people that had told me that she was really nasty and that she's done the same thing to them immediately I went inside the store met with one of the floors supervisors name Mel very pleasant gentleman he gave me the corporate number which I call immediately I made a complaint about this young lady. Emily no customer service skills argue with me and have no resolution skills to be the front desk head. Anyhow I spoke to the corporate there they made it claim the representative was very polite and offered a free grooming in another Petco store even though it was nice of them but I want it to get my dog groomed that day so I immediately call PetSmart 5 minutes away from where I was at they immediately register me with them gave me a same-day appointment and it was actually cheaper $90 while Petco was charging me $150 and saw all my papers and told me I did have the proper papers. this experience show me that is not the store it's the Personnel that is in charge of receiving and giving the information at the store both stores have great products lots of merchandise and also have great representative like Mel in Pepco and people like Emily can damage and ruin the critics of a store while PetSmart we're very accommodating same day Less Price Less hustle and also the store was full letting me know that there's good customer service. Read moreFISH HAVE PARASITES! I have never had such a terrible experience. Incompetent people visit after visit. They don't know anything about the fish they sell you and give incorrect information. Let's start with the issues with my phone number. Each visit my number is given for points, after all I might as well since I spend so much money here. Come to find out all they had on record was ONE transaction. I was returning fish that Anthony told us weren't aggressive but they were extremely and disruptive in the tank for my Angel fish. I didn't keep the receipt because I had put it under my number so it would be on file just in case I had to return it but it wasn't, nothing was that i had purchased and they would not give me the credit for those 4 fish. They knew and remembered me buying them and still wouldn't give me a credit. WHO IS TAKING MY POINTS, THE EMPLOYEES PUTTING IN THEIR NUMBER TO GET THE POINTS? During that visit, I decided to buy two angelfish. Little did we know that Anthony knowingly sold us two angel fish that were in an isolation tank with a parasite. You could imagine what this did to my tank and all of my other healthy fish over the next few days. I spent so much money treating the tank, trying to save what was left after these infected fish destroyed it. Unfortunately I lost 2 of my Discus fish that I had for a very long time. I wasn't able to quarantine the new fish because i had just had fryes that i put in that tank. I took the two dying angel fish back to Petco and demanded a credit. I booked an appointment for my dog to have a rabies shot at the Vetco Clinic. No prices are able to be found online. I called the store and the Vetco number and both refused to give me any information or provide any assistance. I had to physically go to the store to get a phone number to call.
When speaking to the Vetco staff they had been very rude. Smiling and grinning to themselves about my frustration with this. After finally being willing to give me a phone number they laughed and made fun of me while I was on my way out the door.
I also requested for a refund of the pet training I signed up for. The training was misrepresented and only a beginner puppy class was offered. I asked for a refund due to this and also due to the very poor customer service I have gotten at this store. This request was refused, and I was told instead that I would have to wait and give you all of my information for my request to be considered.
From no listed pricing to misrepresented training classes, to be laughed at, and from food polluted with bugs and garbage. Petco it is where the pets go... Only if you want them to get sick and hurt! Boo! Boo! Boo! Three strikes. The Pro Plan dog food that they carry is full of bugs and debris. This product is known to have these issues by the staff but they still promote it and say it is the best.
