Before I get into the negatives, I'll start with the positives. We were looking for a dinner spot, and this place looked fantastic, so we decided to make the hour-long drive to check it out. When we arrived, the restaurant was beautiful with great views, clean, and trendy. There was a long wait, which we expected on a weekend, so we settled the kids and ordered drinks at the bar for myself and my wife. The first round of drinks was perfect, just how we like them. Once we were seated, our waitress was friendly, and we ordered another round of drinks along with our food.
Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. The second round of drinks came, but they weren’t what we ordered. We told the waitress, who apologized, but when they brought the drinks again, they still weren’t right. At that point, her apology seemed less genuine and a bit irritated. When our food arrived, one dish included ingredients not listed on the menu. Again, the waitress apologized, but she seemed increasingly annoyed.
Now, for the most upsetting part: This outing was the day after my son’s birthday, and he’d just received a new Nike vest that he loved. Sadly, he left the vest at the table. When we got home, we called the restaurant immediately, and they confirmed they had it and would keep it safe until we could return the following weekend. Since we live an hour away, it took us until the next weekend to make the hour-long drive back, only to be told that they didn’t have the vest after all. Dwayne said he needed to speak to the female manager that was on duty the weekend we were there. He disappeared to call her and came back to say he couldn’t get in touch and promised would give us a call either way. Two days passed with no call from Dwayne. My son still doesn’t have his vest, and there was no follow through after with an offer to make things right—no reimbursement for the vest, no gift certificate. This, on top of our already disappointing experience, made us feel completely disregarded as customers. If I could give zero stars, I would.
The vest wasn’t extremely costly, but it held sentimental value, and we were assured they would keep it for us. The lack of follow-through and response from the manager made it clear they don’t value their customers. I regret going there and wouldn’t recommend this...
Read moreI wouldn’t even give it a star. My sister and I went to this place and was greeted and sat down by a waitress who AT FIRST was very pleasant. Keep in mind my sister already went here before with her husband, so she knows what drink she wanted because she had it before. We ordered an our drinks (she ordered the same she ordered in her last visit) and I wanted to try something new. When the drinks came out the waitress stated that we had each others drinks and the one I had was suppose to be my sisters. So that was struck one arguing with us about a drink we both know my sister had before. When I asked to change my drink because it was good AT ALL to me !. She stated that the manager doesn’t like to change the drinks unless there’s something wrong with it. I stated to her “I DO NOT LIKE IT ,THATS WHATS WRONG WITH IT “. She turned around without saying anything and 3 min later I got another drink. After that just continued to go downhill. The waitress had an attitude and from that point we didn’t trust staying there. I REFUSE TO BELIEVE THAT CUSTOMERS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT. Because it’s not always the case. But when the customer is telling you politely at first that the drink she has doesn’t taste good and she only took a sip plus was told when we sat down that it was my first time there. There should be some Courtesy so the customer would want to come back. The tacos where good but the service was not...

We had a good time at HT, and Tyler, our waitress, was a big part of that. We had a table by the window to watch the Hudson River and the trains on a picture perfect fall day.
Our group loves tacos, but we found these to be on the disappointing side. It began when they were brought to the table. The three of us ordered 15 different items, and they all came out on one tray ("family style") as advertised. However, the server (not Tyler) pointed to each item and named them, but this was done too quickly and not clearly, so we were left not really knowing which taco was which?
The tortillas were too plain, lacking both flavor and texture, tending to be limp. The Baja fish tacos had way to much dough (not really batter and not very crispy). The filet mignon and shredded chicken were the best of the batch. The General Tsao's was good. The rest were either the wrong flavor combo or the wrong ingredient mix. They were all served warm, but not hot, which we prefer.
The size was considerably bigger than expected, so we left full and with plenty of leftovers. The presentation was quite pleasing, and the wait time was minimal.
The margaritas were superb and the corn lager was icy cold and delish.
Will we go back? Not sure. Maybe in a few months to see if...
