My group (myself and 3 other people ages 25-32) completed the Power Plant escape room. We have all done multiple escape rooms in the past, but this was our first time here. Booking the room is very easy and the price is reasonable. The lobby and rooms were clean and well maintained. Our host was great - very friendly and gave us clues when we were really struggling. Some places give clues too soon or the clues end up being too obvious, but our host gave us clues that we still had to decipher and it felt like a win when we could figure them out and move on. Our escape room had multiple rooms and a mix of traditional locks and other unique ways of opening things. The puzzles had a range of difficulty - some we figured out quickly and others took us a long time. Some of the puzzles were very unique and I've never seen them before. The rooms were immersive and themed well, but not as flashy as some other local places. This did not take away from our overall experience at all! We were able to complete the Power Plant (29% escape rate) with 4 minutes left after 4 hints. It was such a fun time and we will definitely be back to try...
Read moreWe had an excellent experience at Escape Room Buffalo! My husband, myself and our 2 kids (almost ages 9 and 11) went here for my daughter's birthday and did the Castle. Both employees we spoke with were friendly and professional, and the waiting room and bathroom were clean. They even made sure we had a place to put our coats. The room had a great atmosphere and was a good level for a family (amateurs). Just mysterious, nothing scary or gory like some places seem to be. The staff watch you on camera and slip clues under the door if you're not progressing on pace. A good game isn't too easy ( boring) or too difficult (frustrating) and this room was perfect. In the end, we ran out of time on the final clue. The kids were very excited about how close we came to escaping, and are already talking about going back to do another one. Can't recommend this...
Read moreReally wasn't sure this would make it thru the covid fiasco, but it has and it's as popular as ever. Families, employee groups extract immense benefit from these places as they force teamwork and cohesive group critical thinking skills. We urge our salesmen to go thru this game situation at least yearly and you'll find that it really does help employees communicate and come out of their shells to depend on each other and make them think as a group - especially hard with commissioned sales people.
We can confirm it works, and it works well.
