been meaning to stop by here for far too long and finally had the opportunity. first, anyone from outside North Tonawanda who finds the distance an issue should not be concerned, it's very easy to get to and just off Rte. 425.
As for the shop itself. Super cute, well kept on the outside and inside is absolutely fantastic and welcoming. Amazing seating to accommodate any sort of event with retail product spread throughout as you go deeper into the space. TCGs with an emphasis on Pokemon and MtG, including singles, as well as other games (saw Flesh and Blood and One Piece for example,) ttrpg books and supplies, as well as Games Workshop and card accessories (great to see Katana in a brick and mortar!) Prices were beyond reasonable.
Perhaps most important was the atmosphere. Amber was beyond welcoming as were the community who were hanging out. Quite literally gave a "gather around the kitchen" vibe that I'm all for when it comes to community building in the hobby. It was comforting to go into a store for the first time and fell WELCOME, not getting any of the weird, gatekeepy, clubhouse vibe you get in some stores.

Edited to Add: Can this shop get the "best smelling game...

The response on google reviews states that wasn’t their intention, but I beg to differ as the owner felt the need to say he’s sorry at the first visit after his behavior. I can’t make this stuff up! Further more I believe every person deserves a chance to improve. That is why I showed up yet again after the first bad experience with the owner because I’m and adult and can set the ball in the other persons court to do the right thing. Upon me entering the store within 5 seconds I was greeted then asked if I gave him a one star review on google. As I stood at the counter for 15 minutes while the owner chatted up another person. The owner felt the need to make passive aggressive comments towards me saying to the guy “yeah we do thing different here and I know my attitude sucks, if you don’t like it there are 30 other stores around”. Clearly the owner isn’t interested in improving customer relations at all even while you spoon feed it to him. I don’t know how anyone could try to even run a business with how poor his attitude is and how he do eat care about his customer base. That is why I cannot sadly recommend Mana...
