I wish there was a NO STAR option. Last year I had some artwork shipped to my friend in North Carolina. The clerk was supposed to inform me that I had a choice of shipping through USPS or UPS. Instead of telling me, she simply stuck the tube holding the artwork in with shipments for UPS. Three days later, I was informed that the tube was damaged in transit and the artwork was missing. I was given the paperwork to file for reimbursement, as I had insured the package, then turned it in to the clerk for processing. The next day I received a call from the Staples Ship Center informing me that they would not reimburse me because the missing artwork "didn't have a specific monetary value attached". I told the agent what it was insured for, but they still refused. Finally they told me that in order to get reimbursed for my loss I would have to "go online and find a similar piece of artwork and find the price it was selling for ". That artwork which I sent was one of a kind, and I wasn't selling it, it was a gift for a good friend. I can't get it back, I can't duplicate it and my friend never received it. And since I had sealed the tube well and the artwork was missing, it can be readily assumed that someone out there has it and could sell MY ARTWORK for their own price. UPS wouldn't even listen to me. Finally I got hold of someone at Staples Ship Center who actually acted like a human being and gave me a decent reimbursement. But thanks to the apathy and incompetence of your clerk in the Olean store, my artwork is still out there somewhere in some unknown location. It is irreplaceable. Your clerk is. Because your Olean store elected to treat me and my possessions like an afterthought, I haven't been back since. I won't give them a second's worth of business, and I will continue to let my friends and my family know what to expect if they ever trust that place with anything that has more value than the average scrapings for the garbage disposal. The tech employees are a joke the ones that I dealt with anyways not sure if they have more but the two I had shouldn’t even be chewing on crayons...it would make the crayons feel stupid..I bought an all in one HP from this store the hard drive was junk well I payed for a five year warranty plus HP offers a 1 year when I bought it, and since I only had it a little over a month should be no problem right haha NOT...so the genius that rung me out only put that it had protection for the screen but charged me for what I actually bought which was full protection...anyways so when I take this junk back they just give me a brand new computer off the shelf...? And told me when they get the warantee figured out and switched to the new computer they will call me...lmao not sure how you do that when you don’t even so much as scan it or write any numbers off the box in order to put the warantee on it...? Also it has been a week and no response from these idiots...so maybe HP should know about them sending their computers out the door without even so much as to scan them or anything...idk but as far as I’m concerned someone should shut the dump down FOREVER!!! Read moreI was looking for a desk top computer for my 18 yr old for college. The sales rep was very helpful. I will review the computer after we've used it a little. The reason I only gave 3 stars is because of the restrooms. I took my 6 year old daughter to use the restroom. There was no toilet paper. They only had the brown paper towels. The soap was completely watered down. The bathroom was disgustingly filthy. This was by far the worst public restroom I've ever seen. As soon as we went back to talk to the sales rep about the computer I told him about it and said that it needed to be corrected. They only got 3 stars because the sales rep was really helpful otherwise I wouldn't have marked any stars at all. GROSS!...
