Riverfront Park — Attraction in City of Rensselaer

It's great for a meeting spot for those not from Rensselaer-u can literally see the park as u get off the exit! I used to walk the trail/path that wraps around the entire park itself w/my dog-1 side is a softball/flag football field & the other side which is where main parking is has a playground & couple picnic tables for adults-also a gazebo to catch some shade-they recently put a 🚻 bathroom & not a Porto pottie! I gave it 5 stars because of my personal experience-like I said it's great to take ur dog early morning or later in the day when it's not so hot-there r shaded areas just few & far! I also forgot to mention the basket ball courts/& tennis court! The basketball courts r right near the river so u catch a good...

You can walk from Albany all the way to the Town of Mennans. And if you are to tired to walk back, you can take the bus to return to Albany. Don't forget to visit places in the town of Mennans before returning to Albany. Eat something as well. The walking is super safe and the transportations to return to Albany from Mennans runs untill midnight. Please, smile to the people walking the opposite direction along the trail....

Nice big playground/jungle gym for the kids. Small table with attached bench seats clos to they park entrance. There's a really nice looking gazebo with seating, but some idiots left garbage behind all over it. I don't mean just a soda can or two...I mean disgusting dirty diapers, food containers, food spilled on the floor, empty soda cups and straws. It only takes a few idiotic morons to ruin something for...
